Bit frantic first half. But overall not too displeased. Seem to be playing as a unit for once. Expecting to see a more settled second half which will give a better insight into what they are capable of. Agree with the comment about making  better use of Fulkrugs abilities. New keeper seems an upgrade on Areola.

I struggle to understand what some of you find ok with our performance so far. It's absolutely shocking.

Real lack of quick progressive passing. It's all slowing it down to keep the ball. Possession in your own half isnt winning a game. We are unable to press and it looks like we are playing 5 at the back the whole game. Wing backs totally ineffective so far.

one shank aside, Hermansen looks the part and you can tell the back 3 are much happier to give him the ball
Midfield as ponderous as expected and centre backs always capable of a ricket but I thought we looked to get forward. Obviously others here didn't. 


 

 

 

It's why I was so keen for us to get a new Keeper and hoped we'd go for Hermansen as he just seemed to have a lot of ability even in a shocking Leicester Team. He's so impressive though that not even I was expecting him to play that well already 1st half having been here barely a week. Hopefully the 2nd half is much the same.
