May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

Least Dyche would have a style of play and would be a bit inspiring. I would hate the Dyche appointment, but i reckon i'd back him to get more points than Potter will with this squad over 38 games. I also reckon they'd show more fight and desire playing for Dyche

He has signings? He has Mads and Diouf, Wilson was not his signing and nor was Todibo.

He has given a list of targets to the club but they won't pay for them.

The fact you think Dyche is an upgrade is rather sad, we wanted Moyes gone because his style of football was so dull and you want to replace him with Moyes 2.0..........grind out some 1-0 wins.

I would rather be relegated and start again with a new younger, hungrier manager......and new owners.

But you just told me that they wont get a young hungry manager? 

I doubt Sullivan sells if we drop, he will use the parachute money to try and come back up and then maybe sell. 

so for me i'd rather stay up with Dyche then go down with Potter. For me personally out stadium in the championship will be awful, we dont have a spine that we can rely on to stay and i don't back the owners getting in the right manager or being good enough in the transfer market to build a promotion capable squad.

Even if you assumed the loaning club were covering 100% of the wages of those players (they weren’t btw), we still shouldn’t have any barriers in regards to paying wages. It’s just more propaganda from the club.

I won’t argue that selling players helps, but loaning them with no obligation to buy is just nonsensical.

All looks solid to me, Massive. But you do also have to add Aguerd, Cornet and Ward-Prowse back onto the wage bill. They were mostly off it last season - hence we had the capacity to bring Soler expensively etc.

I won’t pretend to be an expert on our accounts. But I can believe 100% the idea that we’re a bit of a financial shower. PSR, cash flow…whatever the reason, I can believe our board - which overspends on shite, under-invests in young talent etc and rewards crap agents - is not covering itself in glory.

The ITKs confirmed that and even Brady this week with her “we cannot bring in players Potter and Macaulay dont approve”. Inadvertently in an attempt to deflect blame from Sullivan, herself and board members she indicates that Potter has to agree and that they cannot keep  thrusting Sully/ Salthouse specials like Wilson onto the manager. 

Its Sullivan and relates to finances and his negotiation and deal making not target identification of the Head of Recruitment Macaulay and the manager Potter. The precise reason is hard to pinpoint as there is so much misinformation and media manipulation from Sullivan. But its not PSR.  There’s no ready cash ( liquidity) it would seem or if there is Sullivan just wont spend without getting cash in the door. 

A whole separate discussion can be had  about the root causes but suffice to say its our CEO and Chairman and their incompetence. There are library shelves full if books explaining how companies fail and it always comes back to the leadership and lack if planning, inability to execute those plans ( implement via hiring of expertise, in football the key is recruitment investing wisely to align with the strategy and operational plans to support that strategy). Leadership success is also about communication, avoiding hierarchy, getting things done thru otjers, listening, securing the resources for employees and having the humility to get out of the way.  Sullivan is the polar opposite. His appalling incompetence and leadership has caught up financially. The pay day loan, loans against future revenue, disasterous recruitment investment, and above all else his refusal to see or realise his part in our dimise means one thing a company failing. It goes out of business or gets taken over in other industries but in football its relegation leading to financial catastrophe. We could easily be there soon.  The most depressing thing is he and Brady spend most of their energy deflecting blame from themselves thru propaganda. Their lack of self awareness us something to behold.

Without wanting to turn every little twist and turn at West Ham into a panic story, I’m unsure how Potter intends to use Summerville and Guilherme when they come back.

He’s made it clear he wants to play 5-3-2 (3-5-2) where he can - probably limiting our best player and captain in the process. So, not really using wingers.

The team is all over the place in so many ways. Neither Jimmy or Guilherme are wing-backs.

Give him a break though southbank, he's had just 8 months to figure this all out and the transfer window has only been open for 7 weeks,
