Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

Any decent players, such as that kid at Monaco, will probably have their agent bending their ear about joining somebody else or staying put.

I wouldn’t leave Monaco for West Ham right now. Look at the shit you’d be waking into. Sullivan, Potter, that side, the Championship etc etc…

In the last 2 seasons Monaco have finished 3rd and 2nd in Ligue 1 (they also won their opening game this season). Why in Gods name would he swap all that at Monaco for the bottom of the Premier League having witnessed us get humiliated on global Telly..

It would only be for the sake of obscene amounts of money, which I don't doubt will be the case and if so, not really the kind of character you want motivated solely by money. Not that I think even that would be enough now to tempt him.

A good listen after the first 10 mins. Interesting to hear why we won't get Makau, the craziness of the Fernandes bidding, and how we've been offered a Flamengo striker call Pedro on a loan with an option, who apparently is very good, but Potter has said no thanks.

Yep, it goes to show that Bilic could work well with some of the players dumped on him. He managed to get the best out of Antonio all over the park, it was quite a sight. We're gonna have to stop reminiscing about Bilic as I'm welling up as it is and it's not fair.

That was the last truly exciting season.
