We have bought our fair share of "Wonderkids" that haven't been anywhere near wonderful

Let’s not forget Savio (or whatever his name was) hottest talent in the WORLD according to the OS at the time, we paid a tidy sum for the donkey as wellTomshardware wrote: ↑23 Aug 2025, 19:42 Will never forget seeing on the club site that we had signed one of the hottest talents in South American football in Jonathan Calleri. The only goal he scored was a deflection from a shot that was going wide.

Re: We were told we would see a world class team after the London stadium move
Just as a bit of an outlier
We were told in 1993 when we moved to The 'New' Den that we would also have a world class team by Reg Burr our chairman.
All we got was loads of money being spunked a pub chain, and a Herbie Hide vs Michael Bentt Heaveyweight Boxing Match.
So a precedent has been set

Maybe that’s what Antonio was aiming for, shame his driving skills matched his football skills

It’s Chelsea on Friday … World Club Champions
Maybe that’s what they meant?

I feel bad after writing this, Hopefully they live fruitful lives and cough up some serious dough to improve West Ham.
And sign a proper director of football and invest properly in the scouting and analyst department and stay the fuck away from interfeering in the transfer dealings!
