Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

He isn't a West Ham type player I'm afraid.

He is young, tall, aggressive and quick.

Where's Brownhill?

Ex saying not done, but progressing.

17m EUR, 3m Add Ons. Progress has 'been made'.  Hope is that conclusion will be reached.

We are a shit show, that's a fact.

If being relegated means we get rid of the owners then it might be a price worth paying. Let's face facts we always drift through the season and by February we are safe in mid table and out of the cup competitions, I'd love a season in the championship playing against proper clubs with proper fans not the fucking tourists who turn up at premier league games.

Sometimes you need to go down to rebuild, we could clear ourselves of all the dead wood and to be honest other than Bowen who else would you be sad to see leave? The youngsters will come through and we might get our club back.

Still just ‘exploring deals’ and ‘monitoring players’ are we?

Not like there’s only days to go in the window or anything. Fuckjng marvellous.

Now Sullivan is acting completely independent of his footballing staff apparently, it’s just even more of a recipe for disaster.

I didn't see the Lille pre season game but those that did, was it really a good barometer to judge him on up against our Team of misfits? Many people raved about him so I'm only going by that.

Was reading that Mukau going off on a stretcher after a ‘heavy knock’ was a blow to his hip.
Manager was saying he is ok & could play this weekend
Nothing muscular or broken bones

Lille have said it’s too late in the window barring a ludicrous offer
Weve dithered & it’s not happening obviously

Whereas we sell/ get rid of 8 players, including one for £55m and get 4 players in, of which 2 are free transfers. Cunts
Isn’t that the issue though? The PSR agenda being pushed by the Owners is bullshit. That lengthy video that was posted on here last week suggested that some 200m could be spent and we would still be within the limit.

I don’t think Forest and Everton would make the mistake of inviting another points deduction.

Our income has been 7/8th highest in the league recently. 17th in the world rankings. Our wages are in comparison to income, one of the lowest. money can be spent. Sullivan just doesn’t want to spend it.

Sounds more like we are ignoring the scouting team and Sullivan and his cronies really are in charge.
either way it means we’ll end up with a few last minute loan to buy deals on extortionate wages.
because that worked well with Todibo right?

Yeah, I've also thought it's stunk with regards to what other Clubs get away with and yet by playing it by the book, we partly get stung that way on top of Sullivans miserly ways. It's all a bollocks. It does seem to pay to cheat.

Next level scouting for the next level team playing in that next level stadium.  However,  nobody asked which level they meant.

 Füllkrug was a tactical sub.

Tactical 😂

Useless cսnt got hauled off in humiliating fashion at Half Time for another Striker because he kept going to ground easily as he was being out muscled time and again for the ball. Where did all that strength go, big fucking German.. 💪

Was fuck all to do with tactics but subbing someone on who actually knows how to battle for the ball in the Prem, even if he is a total shithawk.

Well that is tactical then isn't it? The point is it wasn't for injury.

6 bids in. Bissouma, Magassa, Hackney, Timber, Fernandes, and Makau.

None close.

Potter safe as of now.  Irvine might leave, Guido likely to. Füllkrug was a tactical sub.
None close? I can’t believe it! 🤣🤣🤣
