Weekend football
Impressive start by Sp*rs at Citeh. Two good sides going at it.
Does feel a bit like ‘here’s what you could’ve won’ with Kudus. Looks a completely different player.

Re: Weekend football
Any danger of tonight's match thread, or have we all forfeited the game already?

I saw him come on for his debut against Sheffield Wednesday as well from the old West Stand upper. Even in that brief cameo you could tell he looked good.

feel kind of bad for them in a way having unlimited funds to spend, a decent manager and team spirit, as you say but hamstrung by FFP rules that see them have to flog their best to the top 6 who are allowed to spend far far more because they earn more because they have the best players. Catch 22. Not that this will bother us for the foreseeable future

Nah he's shit, cause Feet told us so everytime Newcastle lost and said we were better off with Moyes... Called everyone know nothing cunts who wanted him as manager, and we have to bow to his knowledge cause as he told us all recently that he knows his football...
You could see the quality of the manager for the miraculous job he did of getting Bournemouth in to the Premier League at double quick time from almost going bust to begin with. It was in style too that made it even more impressive.
He is what I would call a proper COACH. Always makes best of what he's got and makes most players better. A fantastic man manager that can make them feel special even if they are still levels below wherr they should be like what he did at Bournemouth.
Yet another up and coming decent manager Sullivan turned his nose up and overlooked for dinosaurs.

Re: Weekend football
They were always the bollocks and ideal for us, if only they were played to their strengths. Wasted talent and opportunity of top Strikers bang in their prime that actually did arrive and what I'd class as rare 'Next Level' signings.
We shoot ourselves in the foot, time and time again. Kudus being the latest quality Forward we've chucked away in his prime for limited sale value.

Re: Weekend football
Both Haller & Scamacca weren’t bad players as they’ve gone on to show
Dont think Haaland would have scored playing Moyesball
Up front by yourself against 3 defenders with the rest of the team 50 yds behind him not moving

After awarding a pen for Bassey wrestling Mount at a corner Man Utd scored after Yoro put two hands in Bassey’s back and shoved him under the ball. No free kick this time

Re: Weekend football
I notice that all 3 promoted sides already have a 3 point head start on us and a goal difference of +3 from the worst of them being Leeds. These are the 3 worst Teams tipped for the drop. We are bottom.
How much more rock bottom do you want to get Sullivan you freak..

Re: Weekend football
Fucking second week of the season and I'm watching all the shit teams hoping they lose. Nobody else looks anywhere near as bad as us. Wolves are probably the closest and they've been a little unlucky. We're absolutely miles off the pace. Disgusting. Sack the cսnt today. Lynch the board.

Re: Weekend football
It took Amorim 1 preseason to make ManU look decent again.
That's what 10m could have given us, but Sullivan and Brady went to the leftover list instead.
