Next up in the Potter disaster class ...Forest away.

Looks like we'll be bolstered by Fernandes arrival in the squad, but Magassa won't be signed in time.

Prediction: 3-1 Forest (Wood 2, MGW 1; Bowen for us)

Lineup:
Hermansen

Todibo Mavropanos Aguerd

Walker-Peters Fernandes Rodriguez Soucek Diouf

Bowen (c) Paqueta
Usual match day gubbins to follow.

Finally goes to a back 4...and then sticks our actual fullbacks on the bench, and plays two genuine wingbacks at fullback. Bizarre.

Weird that a player apparently hell bent on leaving and refusing to play is in the starting line up.

Aguerd clearly is though, so that’s an even bigger bonus. No back bone in that wanker. Go and sign an old fashioned centre half which might (might) just complement the less sound defensively but reasonable ball playing centre halfs.

The thing with Potter is that if he gets it all wrong he doubles down. He has no clue about picking the right players.

Suspect he will have to go to a back 4 if the rumours about Aguerd refusing to play are true, although he could stick Mavropanos in there.  Typical West Ham, we could have done with a decent centre back anyway and surely they knew Aguerd wanted out?!

I cannot understand but do admire those being positive. I assume they believe a draw or win for us is pure blind faith and nothing else? Because its been a while since I have been this resigned to a loss.

You cannot compete in the Prem Lge, trying to play a possession game, when you play 2 in any midfield from JWP, Soucek and Guido. We also have CBs that are, aside from Stavros, weak aerially and on top of all that the tactics and formation dont work with the players we have ( even with the 2 additions ).

Forest are very quick on the break and we cannot press ( lack the pace ) and to play Potterball you have to be a very good pressing side when out of possession and be able to resist the press when we do have it. We are probably the least equipped side in the Prem Lge to do this well. The 2 new lads should improve our abilities in this area. But today Potter tactics will be suicidal imo

I’m not optimistic as Forest are a decent well coached team but it’s time for players to step up and show some fight

Need a win today. Nothing else will do, what with other big games coming up. Otherwise, we've set the tone for a relegation shitstorm long before the international break.

Unlikely, of course. Can't see anything other than a Forest victory.

Obviously, I want us to win. Never want us to lose a game. But if we do lose, Potter has to go. Tonight.

In my mind, this is very much Graham Potter's last day to show he can win games at big clubs like ours. After this, it's Birmingham City and Coventry (when somebody poaches Fat Frank) for him.

So the stakes are high.

All any opposition manager needs to say is: keep it tight at the back, watch out for Bowen, hit them on the break. When you do counter attack, do it in numbers, because a) they won't press you until you're well in their half and b) even if they regain possession they take so long progressing the ball up field that you'll all be back in position before they're anywhere near our penalty area.

I predict it will go much the same way as the Sunderland game. Potter to be sacked tomorrow and a new manager installed conveniently after the transfer window has closed.

A 2-0 loss and hopefully the end of Cock Piss. Who the fuck do they get in to replace him? After the International break we've got those cunts from North London and hopefully for once in their lives Sullivan and Tits Mc'Gee can get something right and appoint a good manager and start off with a good win on the 13th.
I very much doubt it though.

So Paqueta has travelled with the squad, but it will be decided tomorrow if he plays or not (sold to Villa or not).
Sullivan is probably drooling to get his hands on those money. The lying fucking club killing cսnt.

I hope the marches and protests that are being arranged get a good turnout. Sullivan need a bullet
