Lineup:
Hermansen

Todibo Mavropanos Aguerd

Walker-Peters Fernandes Rodriguez Soucek Diouf

Bowen (c) Paqueta
Usual match day gubbins to follow.

What do we actually get from playing it out of the back other than trouble?

I think their starting positions can be described as “in Nottingham”.

I’m happy with the formation. I think it was needed. We’ll see what happens.

Regardless, can't see anything but a loss. Chris Wood & Milenkovic at corners, fuck knows how we'll deal with it, and it's the sole reason I would have started Soucek today, he'll have to mark both of them.

last year's HOTY? he made a couple of howlers against Chelsea but I thought he'd be nailed on to be starting

It's the first time he's played anything approaching wingers. We have at least four in the squad already. Why would we need another?

My predictions are often wide of the mark, so I’m going for a 2-1 away win and the Portugeeza to score the winner.

Fuck me. A striker. Bowen in his actual position. An appropriate formation.

Defence is frightening though. Diouf at left back looks a disaster waiting to happen. Kilman against Wood is similarly worrying.

I still see a heavy loss. 4-1

I bet you were one of the first to moan about Moyes taking ages to start new signings.

As good as he was last season, he's been wank for the start of this one.
Agreed although he is a far better full back than wing-back.

We at least look like we might have a bit more about us with this line up. Really quite an attacking lineup with only two truly defensive players in the outfield side.
