Next up in the Potter disaster class ...Forest away.

Looks like we'll be bolstered by Fernandes arrival in the squad, but Magassa won't be signed in time.

Prediction: 3-1 Forest (Wood 2, MGW 1; Bowen for us)

Lineup:
Hermansen

Todibo Mavropanos Aguerd

Walker-Peters Fernandes Rodriguez Soucek Diouf

Bowen (c) Paqueta
Usual match day gubbins to follow.

Kilman is a lucky boy. Simple bit of movement & Wood lost him completely.
Calling it movement is a bit rich.

I get wanting to keep it tight, but the balance feels a bit off.

the Midfield are playing 3 yard passes to each other, we could sacrifice one of them or push Paqueta further forward.

He isn’t helping himself, though, Goose, because he doesn’t have the movement to regularly put himself in spaces and channels in between defenders, and to create a half-yard of space. He’s astonishingly immobile. Old skool #9 who prefers to back into his marker. But they’re a rare breed for most tactics these days.

He needs to be nastier on the pitch. Joker off of it, cսnt on it. He's playing the victim against the centre backs too often.

Well it's been a very defensive performance so far. We have defended better but are too slow or lack runners in transition. I understand playing on the counter if you are the away side but we just look devoid of ideas. Best move came from Lucas coming over to the left. He has been our best player by a mile. I'm still not seeing what JWP is offering. Soucek at least has defended well so far.
if we continue to think we just need to defend then it's very risky and the likelihood is that he home team will bundle something in.

He's wasting Fernandes out wide. Should take off JWP,  put AWB and KWP as the full backs and push Diouf up at LW. He won't though.

I also noted that 2 corners swung in inch perfect by Ward-Prowse for Fullkrug at the back post which was clearly a training ground move he pings the ball in to Row Z with his 50p shaped head.
