On today's albeit limited evidence if Wilson stays fit he could turn out to be a half decent signing.

A decent goalscorer and looks like he fancies the job
We just need to give him the service like he got today..

Is he worth more to us than the fee we’d get for him? Probably, depending on who else leaves. I think we owe it to him not to stand in his way though if a decent offer came in that he liked and we were just going to use him as cover.
True especially given he's mid career and we're paying him a relative pittance.

Hopefully he's a Harry Potter-esque magic man and can play 90 mins every match for the rest of the season or else we're in trouble.

Maybe it ain't about Summerville being a talisman as much about playing people in their right positions, as was said by some of us on here at half time about putting an actual left winger on.
Fuck me you are a miserable cսnt.

3-0 away to Forest and you are finding something to moan about.

I've watched Liverpool vs Arsenal, which was pony, and now the Villa vs Palace game, also shit.

I think most games now are boring, it's the way football is, overly tactical.

We played well today overall, scored 3 goals, their keeper made 3 world class saves, and Wilson took one off the boot of Bowen. Fuck knows what more you expect from an away game.

As always, someone has to be negative. We weren’t shit for 80 minutes. It wasn’t hugely entertaining, but it wasn’t shit, and against a side most accept are quite decent and with a lump up front that has caused us problems for years.

They never really looked like scoring. You might not like watching it, but it but it was far from shit. It was a professional away performance with a number of positive signs, and realistically, could have been four or five once we started picking them off.

Reminded me a bit of the game early on against Brighton in 2023, which everyone lauded, except in that, they had more than 20 shots and we had 22% possession!

Until the deadline passes we won't know. If I was Mr P I would keep giving the fans what they want, until I am no longer a west ham player. Why burn bridges and the move falls through?  Someone has put this story out to test interest in the player, I think.

He was good today to be fair.

If you can't go over the top when we keep a clean sheet, score three goals and win three points away from home when good days are far and few between wtf is the point.

I doubt anyone thinks it's a renaissance but there was something to cling on to, some hope.

We did play well though and snuffed them out as I'm sure the plan was to be solid and not lose to get us at least a point, the three goals at the end along with the three points is a lovely way to go into an international break after so much misery...

Bollocks.

It was a textbook away performance. Looked good at the back for a change, and looked the much more likely to score throughout the game. And eventually did.

I don't know what's happened with Villa, did they lose interest or did he? Whatever, I liked his intention from the phone celebration today and I am hoping we have the old Paqueta back.

Apparently it was a false rumour started by that Fabrizio geezer.

Kudus had an explosive 1st 2 games then yesterday went back to being the player we’ve been watching, Spuds fans were moaning like fxck.

I was pretty much down on him before kick off. My son sent me the news on social media that Villa were talking to him and my response was 'good riddance' for a number of reasons. I know how sublime he can be and how creative he is in our attacks but I think that clouds people's perception of how much he costs us in terms of losing possession. Even today where he has been at his best, so many of Forest's attacks started from him giving away possession on what should have been a simple pass. I also hate the way he breaks up play by diving during our attacks even though he won some useful free kicks today. But more than anything, if the rumour was true that he was forcing a move to Villa, I was a bit pissed off that is how he chose to pay the club back after sticking by him through the betting scandal.

How fickle life is as West Ham supporter. I was convinced relegation was a certainty before kick-off and here I am optimistically looking forward to the Spurs match.

Whoever would have thought playing 4 at the back would have wielded that result?

Hopefully that'll be the end of playing 3/5 at the back for good, but I doubt it.

Did you even watch the game, pal?

Their keeper made about 3 big saves before we scored, whereas Hermansen didn’t make a save all game.

Awful game, apart from the last 6 minutes. I thought it was going to be a 0-0 bore fest.
Amazing how having one player, Summerville, with the ability to take the ball forward absolutely transformed us.
opinions and all that but absolutely disagree with that, at no  point did I find it boring, was great to watch them first half and us second half
