Yeah because as I explained earlier thicko I've made it all up. I bet you googled it..haha
Maybe I should put it on the side of bus and then you'd believe it. That's why people like shouldn't be allowed to vote.Sorry, knowing how you work i thought you were digging yourself further and further into a your hole.
You've got praise from Chutney Ferret, so I hope you've got the result you wanted.
In theory there could have been Nubian solders in the Roman legions. But them integrating and staying around until 1066 seems and keeping their dark colour seems very unlikely unless they brought their slave wives with them.
I'm beginning to believe my own myth now.

Excuse the pun, but I'm all ears.Named after the centurion Maximus Lupinius. The Great Rabbit. There's even a pub in Arundel named after them.
Just Google it."Based on search results, "Maximus Lupinus" and "The Great Rabbit" are two distinct concepts from different contexts, and they do not share a specific connection. "

Bergerac, I'm on series 8 now, while some popular characters have been written out there are still some good plots and Charlie Hungerford is still heavily involved.

I've watched the sequel. No correlation really. DW is better.

I was about to sit down and binge watch over the course of the week, but am I going to be hit with a load of BBC guff with it? I've just seen a still from the battle of Hastings with your typical BBC Anglo-Saxon solider from that era.
It's 'colour blind' casting. It's also had very meh reviews.
So no one has heard of The Black Rabbit Roman Brigade that was part of the Roman invasion of Briton. They were made up of Nubians. After the Romans left they remained in their own community in Sussex then part the bigger Wessex. Their descendants integrated into the Saxon army and were reputed to be good fighters.
There's no such thing as a 'Roman brigade' and the Black Rabbit bit seems to be entirely made up.
Other than that, an accurate and informative post.

No Just proving to that racist, bigot, moron Lee Trundle it's possible there could have been black soldiers at the battle of Hastings.
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Started The Terminal List Dark Wolf only to realise there's a season before so I'd better watch that first. Very good btw. Taylor Kitsch is a great actor. Chris Pratt is OK I guess.
