Economic growth is not a divine right - it's a calculated expectation.

All Trump has done is changed a few parameters pertinent to the country who's voters put him into power.

if you wanna talk about his impact on the US it’s been done to death - jobs market, increasing inflation, increasing national debt, reduced growth etc etc.
ask the 40+ blue chip companies who have reduced their profit guidance because of tariffs.

In that case, Trump has NOT been a disaster for the world (or it's economy). Businesses are still trading, people are still working.

What has changed is predicted performance/growth/profits and they are not actual events, they're...predictions...guesses...hopes.

Expectations people had before Trump simply need to be realigned with the new relationships he's decided on for how his own country's economy  operates.

And that is Expectation Management, and someone's expectations are nothing to do with Trump.

He's primarily America's President elected to do his best for his people and his Country first and foremost. He isn't responsible for other Countries economy if it does have a knock-on effect.

If trump wants to rearrange the US economy and the conditions that rest of the world's nations need to meet in order to trade with them, that's entirely up to him and those who voted him in.

It's perfectly "fair" as nations don't have a right - divine or otherwise - to trade with/in other nations (or, indeed tell them what to do or how to behave).

Doing so is a business risk choice and a good business owner will already have contingency ("what-if?") plans prepared for such changes.

The last time we had any proper growth was in the recovery from the 2008 crash.
Since 2010 at has been wall to wall austerity in some shape or form.

Exactly. That's why I feel that Farage should leave Labour holding the baby at the next election. The underlying, but fully understood message should be "We can, we will, but not yet."

The decisions made over recent years have led us to where we are now. If you think we are currently in good shape then you must know a hell of a lot more than the rest of us.

By the time of the next election, we will have had  (Brexit aside) 20 years of shitshow politicians making shitshow decisions. Other than the very young, I can't think why anyone would vote for Labour or the Tories again. The Greens are a freak show and the Lib Dems are not to be trusted.

Farage will make a great PM
Trump is very hit and miss for US,but an absolute disaster for the world as he's so naive,thich,chicken's out and his opinion changes so much depending on the last person who advised or spoke to him 

The other option the yanks had was Harris, who would have been an absolute disaster. They made the right choice. 

Our other options here are absolute disasters also.
