You can tie it all up together from the OTT reaction of a killing/looting spree from the BLM fall out, young Iryna losing her life in a racist attack with no cսnt reacting at all to her to help, Trumps life at danger on a number of occasions and now Kirk.

There are more guns than there are people, so laws won’t drastically change anything. There are also other countries that allow you to own guns without the same mass shooting issues. 

it’s a cultural issue from a society that has built media on guns and war and saving society from the bad guys, and no doubt the wrong’un who shot Charlie Kirk felt that way. 

The western world is in trouble, and America will have an issue containing mass civil disorder after the stabbing of the young Ukrainian girl and now a very popular and humble political commentator. 

If there’s anyone on the left here who remotely attempts to justify the reasons for his death, you need to look in the mirror.

The USA is one of the most screwed up places on earth with their lack of gun control.

I suppose any politician or public activist in the USA goes into it knowing the risks, but it's still horrifying to see things like this.
