So is the answer to allow every citizen, every nutter, every dangerous mental case to have one (or more)?
Mentioned before the number of gun related deaths in Cowboy Land compared to civilised nations
How many schools have been shot up and children murdered in the US compared to every other nation?
Dunblane … was that 30 years ago? Any others in the UK?
Saw a MAGA women saying you couldn’t compare Kirk’s shooting to school shootings because the former was ‘a tragedy’ because he had family. Not sure what she imagined dead children had.
England and Wales approach. Strict licencing of firearms, whole classes of gun ownership (pistols, assault weapons) banned. 22 gunshot murders in the year to March 2024 (most recent year available).
USA approach. Virtual unfettered access to firearms, firearms homicides in 2023, just under 18,000.
Wonder, which approach works best?

You're a moron. Charlie Kirk was calling out Jews hence the suspected Mossad elimination.

Yes, but you don't get nut job mass shootings in the UK, with illegal firearms beacuse of our firearms laws. Criminals will always get guns as you describe and innocents will get caught in the crossfire, but nut jobs don't do mass shootings with illegally obtained firearms, in the UK. If guns were so easy to obtain in the UK, don't you think some of the terrorist atrocities with knives and cars, would have been with guns?
So perhaps the question should be "Who is responsible for allowing these nut-jobs to proliferate and circulate in society?"

No one is claiming ALL Lefties are celebrating, just a lot of them. So anyone that is needs to sort their fucking own out by calling them out. The bile is predominantly from the Left aimed at the Right and to the point they're actively trying and on occasions successfully killing those for holding conservative and Christian beliefs.
The Right have actually kept their shit together and not lost their minds like the Left revealed themselves after the BLM riots. Instead they hold vigils. That's been the level of difference in reaction. Sort your own out, so called "Liberal" Lefties...

Comma.
Not going to get into the whole Palestine debate but let's just say many many thousands would still be alive had the Israeli hostages been released.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
Some of the comments and celebrations at Kirks murder is sickening and vile BUT its also coming to light that a lot of disinformation is being spread, some may be coming from China and Russia (see link at bottom) who would love to see some chaos and disorder in America and will use this to fan the flames.
Even some far right wing types are posting stuff to get the masses going, even pretending to be celebrating lefties, multiple and fake accounts only serve to get more attention of fighting the left and as far as im concerned the far right is just as fucked up and dangerous as the far left, so as disgusting and outrageous as this killing is im not jumping the gun that ALL lefties are in celebration mode and hope we see some calm and rational thought before individuals or the US government takes any action.
We live in truly fucked up times

Onebilly, read that spiked article and have to say it was a typicall one sided view of an event and its aftermath. No mention at all of the still ongoing response by Netanyahu’s forces and the colossal loss of life that has ensued.

Just needs the guns to be locked away at the club when you want to go and use them
Any sensible reason that these sort of weapons need to leave the gun club?
When they are they get into the hands of dangerous mental people & you have events such as this

The Oxford Union condemns but, I bet they still allow him to be President. Almost justifies shooting in his apology... Britain, dogs etc.
