Re: Potter Out
“Of managers with more than 150 Premier League games, Graham Potter has the sixth lowest win percentage.
West Ham have conceded 11 goals in the Premier League this season - their second most at this stage of a single season in the competition.
Since Graham Potter's first match in the Premier League, West Ham have the joint-lowest points total, alongside Tottenham and Manchester United”

Re: Potter Out
Sullivan needs to do the right thing and sack the only bloke in the world who’s worse at his job than himself

Re: Potter Out
That defending was so bad that if we don't get potter out and someone who knows how to coach the basics into those players then we are dead certs for relegation, probably adrift by January.
Sullivan has made another expensive mistake and he has to own it and do the right thing. Now.

After the January transfer window?
The way this is panning out, that will be FAR too late - it needs some very prompt action indeed.

He’d be an instant improvement cos we know for a fact he recognises Ward-Prowse is shit
Re: Potter Out
Why does it have to be an out of job manager? Show some ambition and pay up for someone like Iraola. Don’t give me “why would he leave Bournemouth”. It’s fucking Bournemouth. 12k fans every week.
There are plenty of others too. Just employ someone who looks beyond of his fucking nose to scout a new manager armed with some cash to buy him out of his release clause. It can’t be hard.

Re: Potter Out
Indeed. Two big home games coming up against Tottenham and Crystal Palace. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose both of them.
The Forest win has bought him time though, so it reverts back to him needing to win only one of the next six games to keep his job.

If we see the improvement sustained for another couple of games it might then be that we have “turned a corner”. But to really know will probably mean waiting until xmas assuming we dont immediately go back into a “downward death spiral”. The transfer window needs to get us at least a CB ( Cresswell?) but imo another centre mid is still required to starting JWP and Soucek. A younger striker too is required but realistically I suspect we will only get a CB. That said, was looking at this Magassa’s stats, he is Europe’s top 5 for defensive duel winning, tackles and interceptions. Something we really have missed since Rice went. Im hoping to see us go up another notch with him and Fernandes alongside Paqueta.Magassa's stats are unreal. And if he is as good as they declare and as good as some French football pundits are saying then we have stolen him for that money. I think, as you say, ultimately it will be Paqueta, Magassa and Fernandes.
Potter needs to quickly work out what is our best formation though. If he wants that midfield 3 then he needs to play a 3-5-2 or a 4-5-1. But yesterday we played a 3-4-3. Now with Summerville back how does he integrate him with Diouf? Has KWP played himself in over AWB? Is Wilson now the starter of Fullkrug?
Lots for Potter to think about. And all this on top of him still being under the microscope for many. We lose next game and its all doom and gloom again.
We played back 4 against Forest which made us defensively a lot tighter.

Re: Potter Out
Good win…
Potter finally woke up….
Need to build on this and set up appropriately in future games…
Check again in end of October…
Potter still less than competent in my opinion…
