It's a disaster, now. It couldn't get much worse, especially with Mourinho's pedigree.

He's not coming, unless they offer him ridiculous Saudi level wages - which they won't.

The added brucie bonus with getting Mourinho in even should it go absolutely tits up at the end is Mourinho will chuck grenades at Sullivan and Brady on the way out the door which IS what the Club and fans need so it's a win-win situation. Does well getting his own way, all good there but if not, he's going to bring the racket down with him which is what we need to happen. No one better in world Football to do such a thing if we really want rid of the regime and them being exposed in a big way.
You don't think Sullivan would know this?  He dosen't want a single minded maverick he wants a yes man. Neither Nuno or Mourinho would be coming here for that one reason.
He will know that, of course he would. However, he also knows the Fans anger is through the fucking roof right now and we currently sit rock bottom in a right shit state, so he aint in much of a position to care too much about that right now. He's the ultimate short-termism Chairman, always lurching for the next quick fix to try and save his bacon. He desperately needs a welcome razzle dazzle distraction and Mourinho would give him that temporary reprieve.

Why do people keep mentioning the table when we’re 2 games in?
In 7 of the last 9 seasons, at least one club from the bottom 3, after 2 games has been relegated.

And currently Brighton are 1 of the other Teams which is highly unlikely. Wolves yes, it could be them or it could be us. No reason to be concerned though, we have Potter in charge and they have Periera who pulled Wolves right out of danger last season having been in the bottom 3.

im IN.

I thought last night looking at whose in the Prem who realistically Mourinho could go to and Forest immediately sprung to mind with Nunos situation being so fragile. The fat Greek doesn't need a reason to drag his fat heels in bringing someone like Mourinho in considering how ruthless he is. As soon as it was announced Mourinho left Fenerbache was the time to act, not after the Forest game.

I think Edu is an issue no? I doubt Edu is looking to build a Mouhrinho type team and I wouldn't be surprised if that is the issue Nuno has with Edu right now.  So not sure Jose is a long term fit for Forest.

We are bottom of the table with the worst goal difference conceding the most and scoring the least and already out of a Cup thanks to Potter. We definitely are desperate. We are in no position to turn our noses up at Mourinho of all managers.

Hurry up and get it done, Sullivan you time wasting cսnt...

Ask yourself a basic question: in major games against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd etc, would you rather have Potter rolling out his own brand of "nervous-ball", or somebody like that? Or would you rather have a team coached, drilled and motivated by Mourinho?

Be honest with yourself. Who gets you points in those games?

Given where we are as a club now, I'd take Mourinho before anybody could blink.

Sure, he might be past his absolute peak. Largely because so much of football has copied and made permanent what he brought to the sport as a genuine innovator 20+ years ago.

But he is still miles above anyone else we could land - and he's still on a different planet, occupying a different sport, to the likes of Partridge. He just is.

People talk about him being "spent". Absolute rubbish. Trophies and second place with Man Utd, which now looks impressive in the cold light of day. Took the Spurs twonks to a final, and was then sacked before that final (giving him all the motivation he'll need here!), won a European trophy with Roma (a club with so many internal problems that it isn't even funny). He isn't spent by any means.

He's not the leading light he once was. If he was, he wouldn't even be talked about as somebody for us. But in terms of being able to make order from chaos on the pitch - our number priority right now - he stands head and shoulders above anybody else we could bring in.

Of course, you will have chaos off the pitch. But we'd enjoy the carnage.

Absolutely not. The bloke is a busted flush and has been for years, failing in each of his last 4 or 5  jobs. He's also insufferably arrogant and always has been. He's so far up his own arse, which explains all the shit that comes out of his mouth. It's been a long time since he has genuinely had anything to crow about, all of which makes him a ridiculous caricature of himself these days.

And this is before you even mention the awful football that his teams play. Mind you, we're used to that, so at least that's something that wouldn't be such a bitter pill to swallow. I would pay good money to witness the fireworks between him and Sullivan that would inevitably occur sooner or later and lead to his demise, almost certainly after a fairly short tenure even by his standards. But unfortunately all of that would be kept under wraps by the club, though on the positive side, Mourinho would probably spill the beans on the disastrous way that Sullivan is running the club. But overall it's a massive NOOOOOOOO!!! from me.
