No, what's weird and pointless is directing any and all protests at two people who've shown time and time again that they couldn't give a toss about the club's fan base, and expecting that to change anything.

Kretinsky and Gold do not have executive control but THEY are the ONLY ones who can change who actually does have executive control. Unless you're the sort of idiot who thinks that Sullivan and Brady will fall on their swords and walk quietly away if you piss and moan enough.

If anything POSITIVE messaging toward the other shareholders seems the sensible way to go. I just think Kretinsky is having to wait for Sullivan to hoist himself by his own petard because he's going to be no more pleased with any of this than we are. I'm convinced the Gold family are beholden in some way to fall in line with Sullivan even post the passing of DG while they are shareholders, otherwise it would have been so easy for them to outvote Sullivan.

I agree. Been saying for a while now that the best way to initiate change now that Sullivan is no longer a majority shareholder is to push the other shareholders to enforce changes at the top. Might not be able to do anything about share ownership but can about who actually runs the club.

I was quite pleased to see Kretinsky's name on at least one banner last week. Vanessa Gold should be targeted too as she and Kretinsky together can force Sullivan and Brady out of their roles. She wants to sell her shares so it's in her interest to have the club be in a better position as a sale prospect than it currently is.

Re the stadium. I was one of the first on here saying I thought they'd go for it. It's a perfect location just not a perfect stadium. I see a future where there is a redeveloped stadium on the same spot owned by the buisiness. 

I happen to enjoy where I am as it's buzzy but I dont enjoy watching us lose.

Just spin and very half-hearted promises (if you can call it that) with very little concrete plans. One easy win for the stadium would be knocking that stupid wall down. Don't really understand what they mean by fan zones? Is that a dedicated singing section or something in the concourse/outside the ground? The time for getting something of a dedicated section would've been end of last season.
One of the main issues has been managerial recruitments, I see they've not mentioned those. Poor choice after poor cheap choice and giving each one far too long (have 3 games where you need to win one game, rinse and repeat). It's all short term survival and nothing more 

 

 

When we made the most successful migration ever, I would have thought it wasn’t that hard for a business genius to allocate in an empty stadium a section for “the mouths”, a section for the families, a section where a blind eye is turned at standing, a section for meeting your mates and having a beer at reasonable prices, a section for corporate etc. etc. etc.

Well, if the purpose of the statement was to head off the planned protests they should have acknowledged their past failings and committed to doing something about it. Instead they have just made a very poor attempt to justify their actions. If anything it has made matters worse
