Thought a thread to organise within the context of WHO, who's going, anyone that wanted to get slurps before and after etc might be worth doing.

Got my WHUST Email about the static protest..

PROTEST THIS SATURDAY 

The West Ham United Supporters’ Trust will actively support the protest this Saturday before the home game against Crystal Palace.

You have voted overwhelmingly to support this action with over 97% voting in favour of the trust endorsing the protest. A number of WHUST board members will join the protest and we ask supporters who can show their support to come too.  

This is a static protest that aims to line the route along Marshgate Lane from Pudding Mill Lane station down to the directors’ entrance to the London Stadium from 12.45pm until 2.15pm on Saturday 20 September.  

Bring flags, scarves and banners. We want fans of all ages, including families and children. We hope to have a carnival atmosphere with plenty of singing and chanting. 

This is to show our owners and players that we love our club, and not to cause trouble. See you there on Saturday. Come On You Irons!

OPEN LETTER TO THE MANAGER AND PLAYERS OF WEST HAM UNITED (from Hammers United)

No doubt you will all be aware that Hammers United recently launched the No More BS campaign, and we would like to take this opportunity to make it absolutely clear that Graham Potter, along with his coaching staff and all the players, have our full support. 

The 'No More BS' campaign is not aimed at you.

Our reasons for launching the No More BS campaign relate specifically to Karren Brady and David Sullivan who, through a toxic combination of arrogance, self-interest, and incompetence, along with a complete disregard for our Club’s history, heritage and fan base, have shown that they are unfit to have any further executive role at West Ham United.

We have called on Brady and Sullivan to resign, and for the board of directors to appoint competent and professional replacements. Until this happens, the No More BS campaign will go on.

A demonstration before the match against Crystal Palace will take place at the main gates, and we are expecting a significant number of like-minded West Ham fans to attend. Should the team bus arrive while this demonstration is in progress, you can be certain that you will receive a fantastic reception from the fans, the overwhelming majority of whom will later be inside the stadium cheering you on to what we hope will be our first home win of the season. 

We are sure you are also aware that we have called on fans to take part in a boycott of the match against Brentford on Monday 20 October. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we believe that given the serious nature of the damage that will continue to be inflicted on our Club while Brady and Sullivan remain in place, it is a necessary and justifiable step that must be taken. 

We want you to know that every single fan who takes part in this boycott has the best interests of the Club at heart, and among their number will be fans who have supported West Ham United since the early 1960s. It is notable, despite all the ups and downs they have endured over the decades, where many of them have rarely missed a game, that it has taken Brady and Sullivan's stewardship to bring them to the point where joining a boycott is a price worth paying if it hastens their departure and sets our Club back on the road to recovery.

West Ham fans of all ages will be boycotting this game, but while we may not be there in the flesh, we will all be there in spirit cheering you on to another 3 points.

We hope that you will all appreciate what we, as fans of West Ham United, reluctantly find ourselves having to do, and share our hopes that this Club will soon be able to live up to its full potential. We desperately want all of you to be a part of a thriving football club, and to share in the success we all deserve.

That's with all the extra financial muscle compared to the Boleyn, over double crowd capacity our record is shocking. That's with 14 consecutive seasons in the Premier League as well.

So by dopey Doris own metric, we've totally failed having a single 'strong' domestic Cup runs, as reaching the Quarter's in the Carabao Cup doesn't wash, sorry.

Finishing 10th and just about sneaking in to the Europa Conference Cup is nowhere near good enough ambition for us, 'strong' Cup run, even if we remained at The Boleyn, let alone 10 years now since the big money making move.

They have lowered their own bar and by their own admittance gone back on the lies they once boasted to the world we should be aiming for - At least top 6/Champions League qualifying/try to win the FA Cup. We've barely done any of that since the move. Just 1 6th place finish during Covid season with no crowd, shit FA Cup runs and definitely nowhere near Champions League Football.

3: Qualifying for any European Football - What the fuck happened to trying to qualify for the Champions League which has never looked close to being achieved?
