So Potter is a dead man walking & is being forced to take 2 games while he , the players & everyone else knows he is going
In that situation likely to be 0-4 at Everton & 0-6 at Arsenal
Sullivan showing he is utterly clueless

They're idiots to think the attention will be off them if that's their plan.

If anything, they'll be more attention on the Brentford game with the new manager, and hardly anyone in the ground.  It'll be great for the protest if they do that.

So, Potter is out of a job in two games time. Board reasoning for not fucking him off out the door now? Two tough games so give the new man a run of "easier" games.
Utter bollocks.
Another deflection tactic. Quite simply The Brentford game is already Kids for a quid, add in a new manager's first home game and silly bollocks Sullivan and Baroness Bullshit think that the attendance will be up in the face of the boycott.
Attention is off them.
This is another reason why these cunts have to go. I don't rate Potter and want him to go, but fuck him off properly here and now, not like this.
Don't treat us like fools. We can see this deflection tactic and can see right through it.
We will continue to protest until this board is gone.

Sullivan won't act because there's simply no way for him out of this (100% of his own making) situation without him losing face - a LOT of face.

If it's a choice between him preserving (what he believes is) his public persona and saving the club, the club can go fuck spiders.

He says that and yet it was him that signed off on REWARDING the Chelsea failure with a lucrative 2 and a half year contract! 🤣

Both equally to blame for Potter's laughable appointment.

What a weaselly little shit he is.  Hopefully that means it's the end of Brady when Potter does go though.  Well, it should be.

Not Keen, keep him in the Academy where he's doing an excellent job with producing so much talent there days. The 1st Team aint for him when the last time Sullivan employed him in temporary charge...

Swiss. wrote: 22 Sep 2025, 11:48 What I'm hearing from Hammers Chat is that they want to keep him for our next 2 unwinable games. WTF !!!!

So we have an unmotivated manager in a unmotivated team to go in the next 2 games. More stupid behaviour by the board. Sack this useless prick now and get in Keen/ Potts or even Noble as a caretaker manager.
You mean like keeping him for the unwinnable Forest game?
I think he's a dead man walking and yes Keen/Potts good call

No wonder both Vanessa Gold and her West Ham mad husband want out sharpish! 😂

Don't blame them at all for wanting out of the Circus and they've been a part of it in the background for years now probably watching on in horror themselves. That says a lot to me having not long got hold of her old man's shares and a seat at the table..

The other point I'd make amongst your other excellent points regarding forfeiting the points in the upcoming games Southbank, is it also eats in to valuable time both on and off the pitch for the new Manager to assess and get to grips with everything. We're talking about a full month for a new manager to assess it all properly that will be wasted on the dead man walking Potter for nothing. It aint like turning on a tap and everyone instantly knows what is what and things improve. It's like trying to turn around an oil tanker especially in our current crisis of a Club. It's reckless to waste a single day more, but we are where we are with the thickos in charge who think they know best..

I love the (reported) idea that Sullivan won't compete in an away game against a manager whom he had under contract, but didn't think was good enough to offer an extension.

Now, according to some sources, he thinks that beating Moyes is the equivalent of invading China.

Potter has to go this week.

Not sure how true this claim about giving up on the Everton and Arsenal games is. But IF it's true, and we are already accepting that we can't get anything - at all - out of an away game at Everton, then we might as well close down the football club.

For me, that mentality does two things:

First, it tells me this is a relegation season. Nailed on.
Second, it explains in the starkest terms possible exactly why David Sullivan has to fuck off out of our club.

It is an atrocious, supine and pathetic mindset. It says that the people in charge of West Ham have completely given up. To know that you've got the wrong manager, but to delay getting rid of him because you've got a couple of tough games coming up? Seriously, if you are not prepared, as a board, to compete in this league...then you might as well shut down.

It's a competition. You're supposed to fucking compete. Doesn't mean you'll always win. But fucking well compete you stupid cunts.

Latest from Joyful at West Ham Rumours...

De Santo wants a 3 year contract, or maybe 2 years plus one option year, unless Sullivan agrees to that, or something. Very similar, it looks unlikely that Espírito will be coming to WH

De Santo has a decent CV, and feels that a premier league club will soon offer that situation, if not he will go back to Europe

Following two big failures, (Potter not of his making ), Sullivan IS PRESENTLY feeling it's too much of a risk

Therefore, if Sullivan continues on the short term path, it will cut out many possible contenders , so there are only two candidates Bilic and O'Neil, possibly three if Dyche can be persuaded , but he didn't show any initial enthusiasm for an end of season job.

Maybe there will be, others who might want to try the fireman's job, but no one else at present.

Bang on. I just mentioned this exact thing on another thread too. Really snidey behaviour, knowing there will be much more of a pull to most of us to going to the game after all.

I'll stick to it as long as there's a plan for it to go ahead, regardless.
I don't see that as wrong but what's the point of having Potter there. Get a caretaker in for the next 2 games. I'm sure Trev will step up.
It's not 'wrong' but IMO it's really cynical and snide and neglectful behaviour not in the best interests of the club to leave a lame duck there and throw two games in order to try and save some personal  embarrassment due to a mess of your own making by attempting to curtail a protest

I've also thought that. I think at this stage they want to keep Potter in post especially up at Everton against Moyes the manager they really didn't want to let go and let all the pundits mug the fans off by saying - There, we told you to be careful what you wish for, look at the loser you have now compared to what you had... I'm convinced of it being to rub our noses in it. Not that it'll wash as I never wanted the useless wanker in the first place and actually wanted Glasner when he wasn't in a position.

The only reason why Potter has the next 2 matches to turn it around is that the owners have not got a replacement manager lined up. Who in their right mind wants to work under Sullivan?.
