I respect him a lot for agreeing on taking on a job in it's current state that's obvious for all to see. I'm sure the salary will help but still, this Club is in a right shit state everywhere you look from the Stadium, Board Out regular protests, mostly shit players, working for a despised 2bob Chairman that will do his head in sooner rather than later, this aint at all a happy place to manage. So fair play to him on that score, you wouldn't have blamed him for thinking fuck that for a game of soldiers, are you mad?!

You did that for Potter, but that didn’t stop him claiming it. Even though Potter was his first choice.

COYI called it first. He (or her) always calls it first and is always right. If anyone says anything about it they are stalking him (or her).

Feels a bit like the club has spent the last 15 months throwing shitloads of money away on two incompetent managers and their staff as well as several mediocre, well overpriced players just to bring back Moyes again, this time with a suntan.

Good luck to Nuno. Utter shambles by the board, as usual.

One positive about this change is it happened in the nick of time with a couple of weeks left before the Transfer window closes so it give the new manager some time to assess what he has and doesn't have with immediate changes needed. Thank fuck we have such a smart, shrewd Board overlooking such things and feel safe in the knowledge they know what they are doing.

Well some of it seems simple.

Drop JWP for Magassa and play him with Paqueta and Fernandes.
Bowen Summerville and A PROPER striker up top- maybe he can make one of the two of them look like Woods did for Forest or he can use Marshall.

Centre back and goalkeeper is the real conundrum. Maybe he can simplify things at the back so Kilman looks less shit. Full backs are ok.
I do think that with better defending of crosses and set pieces Hermansen might be able to be redeemed but otherwise the other two keepers are absolutely serviceable as we have seen.

He just needs to make the simple obvious decisions and have the players playing to their best strengths. That should see some kind of improvement. It can be a simple game if you allow it to be.

In all seriousness I always used to like forest but I lost a lot of respect for them when they played at ours last season for all their sportsmanship.  Hope we dont see too much of that, I do acknowledge its part of the game however

Looks like hes got the gig and expected to take Training this afternoon which solves that conundrum. Fuck knows what he could do in a couple of cobbled together training sessions, if not just the one if they travel up Sunday.

Best of luck and welcome Nuno, you are definitely going to need it here. 😅

Yeah no wins on the board and we dont get a touch of the ball for 70% of the game !!!

Being slightly serious, Nuno looks to be the best option from the very small pool of out of work managers but we are essentially back to the secomd coming of Moyes in 2018/19.  If he gets us a decent 18 months if league form, Europe and a cup at least his 2 years in charge will make supporting the club enjoyable for a while again before we return to where we are under the failed regime of BS

Yeah, Im already sick of his 30% possession, low block football.  Good job our owner has a long term footballing plan and philosophy to make managerial changes far less costly and risky.  I mean its not like we will flip flop from controlled, high possession back to low possession again and start buying players to start that approach again. Adding to a squad that is a mix of both styles due to having flipped from Moyes to Loppy and Potter less than 18 months ago.

indicative of why Sullivan and Brady out campaigns need to intensify. Wonder if they realise switching styles via managers leads to a squad of players where many do not fit and will need to be sold for a loss again !!
