Do you believe in God? How would you explain your beliefs?
I have witnessed two miracles in my life so I fully believe in God.
I am a Christian and I also like Buddhism.
You reap what you saw Christians say which relates to Karma of the Buddhists.
Life is short, complicated and unexplainable in many ways so I can't imagine it simply being an beginning and an end.

Re: Do you believe in God? How would you explain your beliefs?
I was christened in a church of England church so I guess I'm a Christian although dont really have any strong Christian beliefs.
I know other followers of a faith and they seem to get a lot out of iit so fair play to them.
I've also been to a couple of these happy clappy churches and it's quite a joyous experience to be honest.
The only negative with some of these people of faith that ive found is they can be somewhat self righteous and also no sex before marriage can still be a thing.

Agree the key word is faith because when there's no evidence of anything blind faith is all you have and when there is no evidence wtf is there to have faith about.. Baffling

I'll hazard a guess it was seeing West Ham winning twice at the London Stadium. What do I win?

Nope. But I won’t ridicule anyone who does.
Agree with NYC- I think faith is basically a comfort for people when faced with their own mortality.

What you knew before you were conceived and born is what you will know after you die. You just wont 'be' anymore. I think people run to faith because they cant handle that notion. Give me something to hang my hat on and it may be different but we've no real evidence of the existence of an afterlife.

Re: Do you believe in God? How would you explain your beliefs?
No - to any God. I think it's all bollocks and fairytales for people to believe in so they can cope with the typical struggles with life. I can never get my head around why good thing happens to bad people and bad things happen to good people. The world seems unfair and I cannot believe a God designed it this way with that principle bearing in mind. Maybe it's a God that's also a bit of a cսnt but then surely that just ventures more in to being devilish which defeats the purpose.
Each to their own though if it makes them feel better about life/afterlife.
Great Football chat though.
