It’s interesting to compare the American supporter’s behaviour, when attending  their home Ryder cup matches, to those that attend the Masters tournament.

It’s chalk and cheese and for sure anyone who behaves outside of the golfing customary level of etiquette at Augusta is warned and subsequently ejected.

Have been absolutely loving this.  Some fabulous golf and brilliant mental strength by the Europeans, who refuse to be bullied. Luke Donald has shown what a great Captain he is again with some great pair ups, with Justin Rose at 45 years old playing out of his skin.  Compare Donald to Keegan Bradley who looks like he is going to burst into tears each time the camera is on him.  Looks totally lost in the way Graham Potter looked on the touchline!  Hardly a face to inspire confidence in a team.

Rosey has been quality. Someone shouted Grandad at him yesterday and he responded by pitching it to within a couple of feet. Fleetwood as well. Superb. 

I read that one of his combos yesterday (Bradley) was the 132nd best possible out of 132 options according to the data, apparently. And putting Scheffler and the orangutan together backfired supremely. Not to mention having his best putter teeing off where he’d not get most of the birdie opportunities on the front nine. Looks well out of his depth. Still they have a tonne of individual talent so I won’t feel comfortable until we have a point or two on the board tomorrow. Some of their ‘lesser’ names have been playing pretty well and it only takes a bit of momentum and a win in the first few matches. Tall fucking order seen as they need to win 10 of 12 matches but miracles do happen.

scheffler to be fair pretty much stayed out of it and was very gracious in defeat afterwards and was talking with lots of the Europeans. It was dechambeau and the caddies acting like absolute bell ends.
