Needs to work on his one on one defending, knowing when to put a foot in etc, learning to use his body to lean in and slow the quicker wide men down etc. He’s got the physical attributes and at 20 years old time to develop further.  Against Ndiaye he struggled first half particularly in 1-1 duels by diving in too quickly and not getting close enough. That said, Ndiaye is one of the best, and quickest wide men amd has very quick feet.

Overall though Diouf is an excellent addition, young athletic and a real engine on him. Hats off to whoever identified him as a target.

As long as he doesn't pull an Isak, I won't mind too much
Hopefully we have a few years before we have to worry about that!

What an engine this bloke has!

The way he ran round two Everton players and managed to still put in a great delivery was impressive.

Cant believe he is still only 20.

We need to build a team around players like him if we want to progress.

To be honest I have nothing against that business model so long as the money is reinvested wisely. The the Bs Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth should be the blueprint for our business model.
Only if that business model brings success on the pitch too.
The B's out-perform us on the balance sheet but on the pitch they've done fuck all with all that extra money that they've made, and I wouldn't say any of them ever go into a season without the first goal being survival.

I reckon he should be nicknamed 'Exocet' with those crosses.  I'd like to see him whipping in corners with pace too, rather than Paq's dainty, floaty, ineffective ones.

He's got great ability and fantastic stamina.
Needs to learn to take a basic throw in though they're mostly foul throws bless him.

His ability to put cracking balls into the box while running at pace is unheard of for us ! Gone by Christmas?

BUT- if he goes it’s for a big profit at least. More than can be said for most players we have bought in the last 5 years. It’s a clear step in the right direction with recruitment.

Be lucky to keep him for 2 seasons he looks the real deal, eats up the pitch, can dribble a wicked cross and defends ok too. Unbelievable talent.
