You're being a bit unfair there.

Linekar scored a lot of goals.
Neville stopped a lot of goals
Mabutt created a lot of goals
Glitter had a string of great hits, including the second best Christmas song ever. The Leader, always, whatever his shortcomings.
Gary from Only Fools and Horses, well none of that was his fault.

Barlow, yeah I'll give you that one. Worst Gary ever.

Not that simple unfortunately, the UK signed up to varies international treaties, European convention of human rights etc so are leggily obliged to take anyone who arrives, until that gets dismantled the UK is fucked to stopping the crossings! not sure if this was under Blair but wouldn't surprise me? UK should have followed Australia who NEVER signed up to any international treaties when it came to "refugees"

When the problem started here and the illegals would throw baby's overboard when the Navy showed up, knowing under maritime law the Navy where then compelled to rescue them and so reach the mainland and so could claim asylum, refugee status or whatever, the then opposition here then won an election here by promising to swiftly change the law, which they did once elected, so anyone arriving would be detained, sent offshore for processing and even if it was shown they were a refugee fleeing war zone etc, they would be re settled elsewhere as they had breached their right to settle in Australia by arriving (initially) illegally..........

They also did a deal with Indonesia where most of the boats were coming from, for them to be towed back if intercepted in their waters.

Funnily enough the boats stopped almost overnight? And any government stupid enough to reverse the law (that some claim goes against international human rights) then they would be swiftly booted out of power, our current Labor government coping flack now for deporting a load of immigrants afew months ago who were convicted of serious crimes, may have arrived leggily but once your convicted even if you have gained citizenship, the government can deport you if they want, again the lefties claim this is racist, against human rights etc but even our left government doesn't listen, it's on yer bike if you commit a serious crime..

I like the bit where he even feels the need to boast and remind us all about how many England caps he's got to justify how truly patriotic he is. 😂

Proper narcissistic dickhead full of his own self-importance and totally detached from real life shit. Fancy trying to mug off people for displaying pride in their flag and wanting to fly it in their Country, only to act smug and virtue signal he soon takes them down again near his businesses.

I reckon genuine diehard Man Utd fans are embarrassed to call him one of their own these days.

As for associating the Islamist extremist with the recent Jewish Terrorist attack, the weirdo has lost the plot completely.

Gary Neville hasn’t lived in a working class area for over 20 years, he lives a very comfortable life and is handsomely paid by Sky. He wouldn’t dare say or do anything to upset his pay masters.

"We need to become a country of peace, love & harmony again"

Yeah, we need to get back to that again.

We just need to work out what changed to stop the country being like that. Any ideas, Gary?

Couple of things.

Hong Kongers don't go driving cars into crowds of people.

Ukrainians don't go stabbing people at random.

Polish people dont go blowing groups of kids up who are at a gig.

Radical Islam is a major problem here and until a Politician has the guts to highlight this, things will never change.

Whatever the next PM wants to do, if the civil service/judiciary don't want it to happen, then it wont happen.

Like most of these current Tory women she thinks she is Thatcher reincarnated
Thatcher may have been a cսnt but she knew what she was trying to do & had an understanding of fiscal decisions
Truss thinks being a shouty arrogant twat with no understanding of economics makes her the new Ironing Lady
She seems to have moved on to be a Trump acolyte
Which is evidence of the need for ordering a gag & straitjacket

Would have been John Smith but Blair had him killed

If Truss had stayed as PM beyond 40 odd days the entire pension industry would have gone up in smoke due to the calls they couldn’t meet
Woman is and was a swivel eyed lunatic

Probably Blair for about his first three years. It’s difficult to believe now,  but for his first three years or so, it felt like the country was being run by someone who knew what he was doing. But then Bush got in and Blair immediately started cosying up to him.  Then 9/11 happened and Blair started believing a bit a bit too much in his ability to change the world.

There is 100% absolutely no way the left/state will allow Farage to do what the country actually needs, if elected - many of the entitled, self-important, self-centred tarts are still carrying a Brexit grudge ten years after and are still determined to teach anybody/everybody who holds views that challenge theirs a jolly good lesson.

Can't change the past, so pointless bleating on about it.

CAN change the future and the single biggest thing to help would be rigorously controlled immigration - introduced immediately (no promises to do this, promises to do that. Verifiable, transparent action - now - is all).

Point again is that the entitled left/state won't have/allow any of that unless it is them - and only them - doing the controlling and setting up the entry/visa criteria.

Blair & Brown were the ones who handed over immigration power to the ECHR, once that was in place, it was a free for all.

Agree about the Tories though, successive leaders not brave enough to take back control, most of them have been Labour with blue ties on.

Liz Truss had the right ideas, but she just wasn't going to be allowed to do what needed to be done, and the press as usual done a hatchet job.

I'm not a huge fan of Nige, would rather Rupert Lowe as PM, but realistically, Farage is the only one outside of the norm who could win the vote, just got to hope that he can do what needs to be done.

I just notice that most on here just want to blame Blair or Starmer
You can blame ALL the governments back to the witch Thatcher for the state of the country

Cheer up though , you have the economic illiterate Trump fanboy Farage to look forward to
