Once pacqueta returns we will regain our thread . As long as he's properly fit . As other posters have said . But Bowen up top on his own has to stop . It doesn't work way too lightweight.for it . Watching him doing it just shows how poorly cottee Defoe pop Robson would have done playing it under this manager.

"Fuck me this club does my head in. So flat, so fucking gutless. They took us away from our home for this dreary fucking bullshit attitude throughout the club. It’s not just moyes it’s whole ethos. We were in a great position at the beginning of the year off the back some good wins (albeit fortunate at times) All they needed to do was build on that. It’s like moyes and the club just want to reign it in when we get in a good position. It’s so frustrating. We have the best fans in league, always showing up, always pushing the team on when they show desire. Why can’t the club do the same!?"
Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Exactly Meercat, if we can look half decent away at Man U it really doesn’t say a lot for them, difference today was having a quality centre forward, not a very good winger chucked into that position, it shows how dire our position is that we are looking forward to the return of Antonio, another winger that Moyes thinks he’s turned into a centre forward."
Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Ultimately flattered to deceive against a very average Utd . The Bowen CF experiment must now be comprehensively seen as a failure. Moyes first choice CB pairing will concede every game . WP - has been a dud for months now . No pace in the team other than Kudus , Bowen , neither are greyhounds exactly . Plodding team really , totally without spark when Paqueta missing . Philips - so off the pace , it’ll take weeks to get him to match level . Season very likely to peter out ."
Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"""Guardiola knows a dud when he sees one."" Fucking Moyes doesn't!! He's a a hard on for Phillips for about a year now and in two games he's cost us two goals. We've wasted a chunk of money and time on a player we didnt really need. Meanwhile we look like a team that isn't coached how to break teams down and a team that has minimal attacking options. Of course we're not gonna score when we have a right back as one of our 3 attacking players. Bowen looks like someone who has been rushed back from injury (and is also playing out of position because we refuse to sign a centre forward)."

Any other club would ensure they have a striker instead of playing one of the best players out of position and nulifing him. Sick of this nonsense now.
Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
That's the worst man u team since 1990 They were there for the taking. And we failed to attack properly. We didn't strengthen in the right areas In January and we'll suffer for it long term. Moyes just doesn't know or want to now how to attack a team

I think we could have played all night and not scored. Guess a striker helps.
Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"That felt like a classic OT tonking from back in the day. Never really looked like scoring despite some decent possession, our luck was out and it felt like a matter of time before we conceded."

"Miike haha i think someone has This site is very unpredictable like our team :-) Lots of “bad gateway” error messsges but obviously was posting them many times Just one thing to add if Moyes being renewed. Dont let recruit anyone not one player. Alvarez Kudus and even Stavros now more recent games cutting out the bad passes he made in early games, all look to have added to the squad. Moyes picks? Aguerd, JWP and now Phillips? Hmmm added to his blind loyalty to the Czech and no striker are the difference between qualification in Europe and mid table i suspect Pray Steidten stays"

"Current phase of operation WHexit delivered on time and well within budget, sir! No need for too any expensive pesky travel costs to eat into the cashflow now. Just need to fall at the first hurdle in Europe and we're done. Fuck the fans. Perfect that only 3 points are achievable this month. Where's my new contract>"

"Turned off at 2-0 and went for a run, if Emerson takes that chance we were back in that game and could have taken something from it. We had been playing better than I've seen us play for a long while in terms of keeping hold of the ball."

Funny how last week someone on here was digging me out over the suggestion that Johnson can play midfield for us better than the two departing players and definitely better than whatever Philips is doing. I rest my case. For a back up utility player he ain’t bad at all and he’s putting these “specialist” players to shame. And ffs if I see Philips pass it backwards again I’ll go to nuts. 150 bags a week for that? It’s insane.

"Man U took their chances we didn't. Emerson's chance was the clincher, he dillydallied & they went up and score a deflection 2-0. Game over. Have to say Bowen looks really off it right now. He's not a striker & any hoofs up to him are pointless. Hope someone can drum that into Moyes now. Kudus showed more promise but in genral we resorted to faffing around their settled set up and our crossing is just DREADFUL. Always hits the first man. Can Johnson & Coufal just lift the ball a little please?? Philips hasn't added anything (yet) infact it looks more disjointed now but it's obvious the injuries have knocked us off our stride. We still had chances here but we're too indecisive in front of goal. Whoever has it just wallop it & stop f***ng about. Ganecho certainly has a very punchable face. Hopefully karma comes back to haunt him later in the season."

"I said at HT they would get another one and kill the game off and there it was on 48 mins. That was their easiest win all season, very much a case of southern softies bending over up norf. Yes, it wasn't an awful performance but we didn't lay a glove on them, Maguire was trying to help us but we couldn't hit a barn door. This game has just thrown up more questions than answers, how long do we persist with Bowen down the middle, is Phillips going to be of any use, does Aguerd stay in, does Johnson stay in, what is JWP all about, Soucek same old, etc. Season petering out now."

Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"we had possession, we looked ok in the first half especially. We lack any cutting edge and we just sold our backup attacking squad players. We missed a host of chances to equalize and paid the price. But then, Moyes has hardly prioritized attacking has he?"
Re: ‚ö? Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
“What has happened to Bowen?” Probably the fact he is being flogged to death up front in a set up that doesn’t use a striker? He’s a right winger and a fucking good one. He’s more dangerous from that position. There’s only direction to look when asking what has happened to Jarrod Bowen.
