International Break Yawn Fest

Post stubbo-admin »

So here we are with another International Football yawn-fest.

What will you do for the next 14 days while meaningful football shuts down?  In some ways two weeks downtime will be a nice break from the current West Ham circus.

When we get back...the next 5 games will likely define the whole season.

I actually view his predicted injury as a positive for us so we don't have to put up with witnessing any more shocking performances from him for a while and gives the other 2 a real chance to stake their claim now. Wilson was always the better Striker out the two in England in any case. Useless cսnt aint scored or assisted in his previous 12 appearances in a row he's that allergic to goals at our Club.

The Carthorse needs sending to the knackers yard so to be put out of his misery once and for all.

Callum Marshall has played a few minutes in the Premier league with West Ham,that's more than enough to get a start with Northern Ireland FFS.

Also, with our scarcity of centre forwards Wilson will be getting a call for the next game.

Bet mr Neville is hating watching England, all those middle aged white Englishmen waving the national flag, absolutely disgusting, hope the telly gaffers pull the plug on the game as it’s to nationalist.

I still don't understand the Nations League?

Why don't we have the winners of continental tournaments like CONCACAF, UEFA, etc, play each other until one wins and is crowned league, knock out, nations' world champions

Internationals are the only times, these days, where we can see a team of nominal Englishmen playing. With the paucity of Brits represented in PL teams, and it’s going the same way in the Championship too, perhaps we should, instead of yawning, be keen to see “our” lads playing for our country.

Not quite in the international break as such as it's on the 18th, but a good couple of days before the next West Ham game which I shall be boycotting anyway.
Qpr v Millwall- 12:30

Fulham v Arsenal - 5:30

I've always fancied seeing two games on one day but never done it.

Don't have a clue what games are on or if this is a WC qualifying break but just hope not many of our players have been called up including Bowen! Much happier if they are with Nuno and he has a couple of weeks to drill them in his style, and we come out of this break more competitive and win some football matches.

Yes, but will the losing manager at the Fulham v Arsenal game be blaming Gary for his band's fucking awful performance?

My 2nd team - Kerry FC - were thumped 6-1 in the semi final of the Irish cup. That they got to the semi is a huge achievement, but now I have nothing, nada, nil to take an interest in until the mighty hammers play Brentford. I'll spose I'll watch England and Ireland anyway zzz zzz 💤
