Re: The Ryder Cup
What happened to the classy American golf players like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Johnny Miller etc etc and now they have this bunch of cry baby losers?

Re: The Ryder Cup
I noticed some with severe TDS were blaming Trump for the behaviour of some American fans. Haha, desperate cunts.

Re: The Ryder Cup
Yep
The only logical solution at that late stage I would have suggested is draft in the Captain himself to substitute the injured player. Not ideal but at least it's someone within the set up and a chance to still maybe get something out of it.
Apart from that, the rules are the rules shitehawk, like it or lump it as you currently are doing.

Re: The Ryder Cup
Exactly. Not to mention they have won two Ryder cups by virtue of the envelope rule in the past, I believe.
NOW it's a problem for them and the US and various media outlets are up in arms about it. Of course they are. It seems a pretty fair and sensible rule TBH in the event of injury. If they believed otherwise they had ample time before the match to bring it to the table and discuss it.
And if we were gaming the system we'd have sat Hojgaard with an 'injury'. Not Hovland.
Pathetic crybaby stuff really.

Re: The Ryder Cup
Fucking give the half a point to them anyway. 13.5 - 14.5. We still fucking won, the sore losing wankers.

Don't even know why it's a point of upset for him- it guarantees his shittest player wins half a point, even if it were Europe's shittest player who withdrew. It should put the US at an advantage TBH. What does he want? The full point? I suppose it's just a fairly transparent way of pushing the blame away from his poor captaincy and onto something else. English lost every round he played. It probably helped them because Hovland might well have beaten him having been just as fresh.
Would crack me up if they forced a change and their best player got injured next time round and forfeited a point for them, even moreso if it was the difference in the match.

Re: The Ryder Cup
Agreed. Huge point that was the difference. The unsung true hero of the day for me. Held his nerve as most of the others lost theirs.

Re: The Ryder Cup
Weirdly felt a bit deflated after watching the singles capitulation, even though we won.
It's a shame we allowed the scores to get so close. I wanted to smash them after the first 2 days.

Well done MacIntyre to finish with another half.
Great Team effort to still keep their nerve at the very end.
