Games for 18/19/20 October.

Post Mike Oxsaw »

May as well put this out there now as later:

18 October 2025 - 12:30
Nottingham Forest v Chelsea
League Placings: 17 v 6
Current Form Factor: 5 v 12

🎼 Bye-bye Ange, Bye-bye happiness. Hello, no success, I'll see you on the dole. 🎶
Away Win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Brighton & Hove Albion v Newcastle United
League Placings: 8 v 12
Current Form Factor: 26 v 15

The above "stats" suggest a home win, so...
Home Win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Burnley v Leeds United
League Placings: 8 v 12
Current Form Factor: 7 v 19

Contradicting "stats" here. Shame there's not an option between draw & away win.
Draw.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Crystal Palace v A. F. C. Bournemouth
League Placings: 10 v 4
Current Form Factor: 33 v 27

Close, but I suspect a sneaky 3 points here for Bournemouth.
Away Win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Manchester City v Everton
League Placings: 5 v 13
Current Form Factor: 28 v 15

Above "stats" again suggest a home win. Who am I to argue with a geek?
Home win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Sunderland v Wolverhampton Wanderers
League Placings: 7 v 20
Current Form Factor: 28 v 5

Wolves still hunting for that elusive first win. The hunt goes on.
Home win.

18 October 2025 - 17:30
Fulham v Arsenal
League Placings: 14 v 1
Current Form Factor: 22 v 31

Why bother? Fulham will huff & puff, but the Arsenal house will stand. Not even a chinny-chin-chin will blow the door in.
Away win.

19 October 2025 - 14:00
Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa
League Placings: 3 v 9
Current Form Factor: 21 v 10

Hoping for an away win here, bit I suspect that's all it is - hope. 3 points for the Lilywhites - but only just.
Home win.

19 October 2025 - 16:30
Liverpool v Manchester United
League Placings: 2 v 11
Current Form Factor: 30 v 19

Well. We all want Manchester United to do badly here, don't we?... DON'T WE???!!!
Home win. Hopefully an embarrassingly easy one.

20 October 2025 : 20:00
West Ham United  v Brentford
League Placings: 19 v 16
Current Form Factor: 11 v 21

We all know what we want, we all know what we need.

Will the planned boycott have an impact?

In truth, I suspect not; many will have already decided a 6-pack in front of the telly rather than partaking of the wonderful autumnal world-class evening transport connections at Stratford.

Still, home win? (*sighs*); that's what my heart says, but...
Draw.

Ag-ag-ag-ag-acca:

Wins for Chelsea, Sunderland, Arsenal & Liverpool. £11.00 stake @ about 5:1

Kudus fee looking about right.  Every time I've seen that Xavi Simons he's flattered to deceive.  Rather have Summerville.

No mention at all that there is a Premier league game on tonight

That's because Brady has already put out a blanket ban on all reporting of tonight's game. The gagging orders have been non-stop flying out of Shithole Towers.📝📝📝📝📝🤐

Media these days runs on clicks & eyeballs
Man Utd have the most (glory hunting) fans in England & around the world so any excuse to shoe horn in more about them whether they are good bad or indifferent
Was listening to 5Live this morning & they had several separate features outside of the news about their game
No mention at all that there is a Premier league game on tonight

I see that MSM has, again, gone way over the top on Man U's win at Anfield.

The league according to them appears to be "The Red Devils" & 19 other teams.

It really is about time they came clean and admitted all their comments about Man U are sponsored, either paid for by the club or a fan/group of fans.

Gakpo could have had 5 today
Hit the post 3 times (one was a deflected fluke) , scored from a yard then missed an open goal header from 3 yards
Should have realised they’ve had the best of Salah … now they’ve got a couple of years at something like £400k a week or whatever it is
Id have moved him on & gone for someone like Kudus … though he probably isn’t consistent enough for a team that expects to win every game
You might even say the same about Van Dijk

Liverpool left the rebuild too long. They ideally should have started to replace the likes of Van Dyke, Konnate, Salah, Robertson, etc last season and even though they won the title it was more or less Klopp’s squad.

They ate trying to bring in 5-10 new players in one hit and not all of them will work. Moreover it takes time to bed them all in so this season will be about transition.  Salah, Van Dyke, Konnate and perhaps even Allison have peaked. Not a surprise. Prem Lge so fast and intense now that not too many players make it past their very early 30s. These players are a second or 2 slower and that starts to show.

Today you could see the partnerships and underdtandings they have had all over the pitch are not there with the new players and they looked a tad disjointed as a redult. All that said, Gakpo should have got a hattrick and the Mancs were fortunate to win imho.

Salah looks to have hit the rapid decline button, also personally I've never seen the massive fuss about Isak,  and he was certainly bang average today.

Good to see, let's hope it continues.

Salah being utterly appalling hasn’t helped
Diaz & Jota were also great team players and they are missed

Man City aren’t what they were. Don’t control possession like they did & puts pressure on their defence. Which was never their strength

If Arsenal don’t win it this season they never will

Please, please, please Footballing Gods let Man City win and not these entitled crybaby cunts from south London. 🙏
