It will have been 16 days since we saw what football at the top end of things could look like by Arsenal, who made us look second class citizens in footballing terms.

This game is unusual this season, in so far as the bookies have us down as favourites to win.  Monday nigth, under the lights....but how empty will the bowl be.  With a boycott planned, kids for a quid, general sale tickets up for cheap, and Nuno's first home game, the atmosphere and attendance is anyone's guess.

Injuries wise, our Big Fucking German is big fucking injured again...reducing the options up front to the two Callum's.  Nuno chose to save ~86k in wages last time out, preferring the pace and mobility of Marshall over Wilson, and it will be interesting to see if he does the same thing here, or goes for a 'makeshift' centreforward.  And of course Soucek is back.

Other than that, there are no fresh concerns reported going into the weekend.

Predicted Starting Lineup:
Areola

Wan Bissaka   Mavropanos    Kilman    Diouf

Magassa

Fernandes             Soucek       Paqueta       Summerville

Bowen (c)
Subs: Hermansen, KWP, Igor, Potts, Guilherme, Marshall, Rodriguez, Wilson, Scarles

Predicted Score: 1-0 (Soucek)

Irving so much better in that deep playmaker role than JWP was. Think he's hugely underrated.

Strange team.
Diouf, AWB, Magassa should be starters.

Is this what they call inverted full backs with KWP and Scarles on opposite sides to usual? Look decent going forward but don't look too comfortable at the back when they break.

I guess three's no-one to cross to anyway so maybe he wants players cutting inside.

Interesting, though.

Getting forward with pace and in numbers when we have it- good to see. Paqueta looks lively so far.

Would like to see some shots of not the East stand. Looks like they really made an effort to fill the middle of that stand outward to make it look as full as possible on TV. Behind the goal looked much more sparse. Of course those who are there likely just went and sat in the expensive seats anyway.

Good start fired out the traps which is good to see. Miles better than how we used to dawdle along before. Keep it up..

Yeah course I did.

You're moaning about not playing a 33 year old crock, and a kid.

You're just angry about absolutely everything, I bet you have a meltdown when your boyfriend puts your shirts on the wrong spin cycle. You wally.
I don’t support managers that don’t start games with the best players available
We're 2nd bottom, you helmet, we do not have a plethora of 'best' players.

Our best players are Bowen, Summerville, Paqueta and hopefully Fernandes, although he hasn't done much yet.

Anything outside of those 4 is a big fucking shrug. Being an absolute fanny anne about it, like you're being, is pathetic.

you know nothing you queer cսnt
play a fucking striker and not 2 central midfielders that can’t run

Wilson - old, past it, shit and slow

Callum Marshall - slow, inexperienced, championship at best

Magassa - raw, not quick enough, passing poor

*Nuno spends 2 weeks with the squad, picks a team of the players who have impressed him*

"Why ain't the useless cսnt playing Wilson, Marshall and Magassa?"

We've got a shit squad, and a brand new manager, who has clearly picked a team of players who have been giving their all in training. We're not leaving out Bowen & Summerville for fuck sake.

Gary O'Neill just had an interesting observation about Kilman- said he had to work with him a lot about staying switched on and not looking to 'rest' (i.e. switch off) during games forcing him to be in positions where he needed to recover rather than be ready.
What a terrible quality for a CB to have.

Sky MNF shock, horror barely mentioning the Boycott, one quick question shot at Nuno but that's it. Don't want to draw too much attention to your poxy Premier League product being sulleyed, eh...

never seen anyone bombed out like that in my life (not that I’m complaining) but wow.

Strange team but as some have said, maybe about who was away on international duty and we have a game on Friday as well. So let’s trust in Nuno!

for the third manager in a row, he’s employed another cսnt who can’t identify the best 11 players we have from a squad of absolute dog shit
England managers are retards for not being able to do it but at least they have to choose from a whole nation of talent, how hard is it to single out pace from the zombies we have at this club
FUCK OFF NUNO YOU THICK cսnt
