Piss poor results over the last two years.
Losing regularly, and expecting it, to teams with tiny fanbase and small stadia, that we should be wiping the floor with like Brentford, Bournmouth etc.
Managers with successful backgrounds failing with us.
No quality strikers, for years now
Fans walking out with 1/2 hour to go while we are still in with a chance.
No sign of impovement, or reason for any optimism.
We were never this bad even under Grant and Roeder.

Will lower league football be so bad? It seems to me we are going there next season, for certain. A disgrace for a club with sell outs in a 62,500 every home game.

It would be ghostly for night games like the old Wembley stadium on greyhound racing nights

It would truly be the death of the club.

Sadly I can see it happening though

I'm sure they'll come up with some amazing curtains with faces on to pull around the upper tiers, they will become 'cult' like our magic carpet.

I've never in my life wanted us to go down and have never really enjoyed playing in the Championship (although it wasn't so bad in the second tier when we had Brooking, Devonshire, Bonds, etc). But if we go down this season I'm more likely to renew than if we stay up, for all the reasons already quoted. BUT, I'd want to see a much better style of football than we've been getting and I'm not sure we will. And presumably we'll still have Sullivan and Brady in charge. And this is the worst aspect of all, that with those two still here, there is nothing, just nothing, to look forward to.

A good hypothetical is who would stay and go post relegation.

I think definite leavers would be Bowen (too good for the Championship), Paqueta (thinks he took good for the Championship and even a shit club like us in the Premier League), Todibo (see Paqueta), Fernandes (will attack a decent fee), Magassa (see Fernandes), Diouf (see Fernandes), Wan-Bisaka, Summerville

I think possible stayers would be Potts, Scarles, Kilman (won't be able to shift him), Mavrapanos (his level), Soucek (see Kilman), Irving (see Kilman), Marshall, Walker-Peters, Guillerme.

It would be an almost total rebuild.

Burnley, Leeds, Forest (with added Euro football), Wolves.

All worse than us.

We stay up at a canter.
I am not convinced. We have lost to Wolves already and tomorrow will give us answer to Leeds.

The championship wont be as fun as it should be.  Our squad will get sold for next to fuck all as Sullivan can't sell.   We will get probably Russel Martin as he is out of work.  We will buy a load of muck and then have to endure shite championship football in front of 30-35k each week.

Look at the prem sides that went down last season at the moment, they are hardly flying and I reckon we will lose more players than they have.  It will be easier to say who is staying instead of who will leave.  Be gutting to see Bowen go, the rest of them can fuck off.

Horrible thing is i wouldn't mind it, loved the last season in the championship.

No VAR and a lot less mental cheating along with the fact the fair play rules have rigged it to only allow certain cash cow teams to stay at the top have ruined football.

Fucking mans game turned into a pathetic load of boring shit, not helped by our owners insistence on only employing useless boring cunts whilst being a monstrous cսnt himself.

Too many doom and gloom merchants on here.
Nothing to do with doom and gloom, just a realistic appraisal of our prospects. We are shit and we're going down, get used to it, and you will be less anxious about the outcome of games. This team is the most useless I have seen in 60+ years.

Sullivan won't go.

They'll put the spin on it that they're great at getting teams promoted. Which to be fair they do have a good track record with, although that isn't too much of a surprise given their record of getting clubs relegated in the first place.

I tell you what, if we keep playing like we have been, we'll be lucky to stay in the championship.

It's that fucking bad.

I've had mates calling me and texting me, they can't believe how bad we are.

Having given it up for this season if we go down and Sullivan/Brady do finally leave, I will be getting a season ticket again happily in the Championship. Preferably they'd soon fuck off and we'd still remain in the Premier League though so I can renew.

I don’t mind the Championship
If it means Sullivan suffers financially then all the better
Wont be renewing next season under Sullivan if we are in the Premier league
May well do if we are in the Championship & most of the dismal cunts in our first team piss off

If anyone hasn’t realised we haven’t won a home match since February
Thats laughable

I don’t care if we do, or what division we play in. I’m one of those planning trips to grounds I’ve not visited, additional games, cheaper tickets, proper people going. I remember remarking a few seasons ago that the last proper enjoyable domestic away day was Derby in the cup which seemed to full of old school hammers.

I remember meeting Jack1 outside Doncaster’s ground for the first away of the Championship season the last time we were down there full of excitement.

What I do care about is the cսnt who runs the club. He’s not a well meaning idiot like, he’s a cancer who’s chipped away at all that is good about the club.

It will fix a few problems:
  • Tourists will disappear.
  • We'll all be closer to the pitch as the upper tiers wont get sold.
  • Away tickets will be easier to get.
  • Queues for drinks at half time will be smaller.
  • Tickets will be cheaper.

I'm at peace with relegation because its what we deserve. I'll actually embrace it if it means Sullivan fucks off and we can start over. As long as he is around we have no hope or no good times ahead for us.

We're due the drop and, even this early, everything reeks of a relegation season. The only positive right now is it is still very early. That and I still can't believe just yet that we've got ourselves yet another dud for a manager.

I predicted us to gan doon before the season had started, and we're even more shitterer than I'd expected.

Apart from Bowen, the rest of the squad are just not very good at playing football.

A general malaise around the club.

I can't see 3 teams being worse than us.

Gannin doon.

Early days but at the moment we are playing like a side that's destined for the drop, can't defend and not scoring many goals.

I'd like to know what you're smoking.

We have easily the worst squad in the division.

Bowen aside there is hardly a player another club would want.
