"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Jaxson Dart feels like an injury waiting to happen as well. Too many risks taken.
Not only that, but it was also against us, in that stadium, and on exactly the same yardage line
That is extraordinary. Just rewatched that. The guy really shouldn't have been out on the field at all that day. But it's shit luck with two very promising young QBs.

That Daniels injury (dislocated elbow) is a bad one, TM.

Thankfully, it's not his throwing arm, or that's a potentially career-ending thing. But it will take him a lot of time, many months, to get his arm back up to strength. I'm presuming he's gone for the season now.

Such a shame, because he has been a breath of fresh air in the NFL. I hope he can get back to that level quickly. Dislocations are never good injuries in any sport. But particularly the NFL, because the impact is often so great there's always a chance of a recurrence.

Nasty injury for Daniels last night - hope he recovers from that quickly - good job it wasn’t his throwing arm.

Another good performance from us, all really starting to click and we have so many weapons on offence now - two fist time scorers, two more for Horton who’s having a great first season, still got Kupp to come back, JSN is an elite level player now, and Darnold is throwing it around like prime Wilson.

Biggest change this year is that our O line are performing. Good time to be a Seahawk at the mo

Mike we're shit and we beat Detroit. and yes Art Monk was one of the greatest receivers along with Diesel Riggins' running game.

Now, Art Monk was a fecking player. What a receiver. As good a go-to guy as there was. If the Skins had to make anything more than six yards on third down, that guy just came into his own. Teams would double-cover him and he'd still make a clutch catch in traffic.

He played one season for the Jets in the mid-90s when he was about 105 years-old - and still made around 50 catches in the year! It was the Pete Carroll season (as HC). Still can't believe we fired him after one year.

Some good games, though. Bears/Bengals was suitably bonkers.

Two weeks unbeaten for the Jets. Oh yes.

Admittedly, this week was a bye!

I quite like the Packers throwback kit this evening.
It looks like they stepped out of old sepia film footage.

We are coming up to the half way point of the season. And the cream is slowly rising. And the turds are starting too get flushed. Those who follow the good sides can start dreaming of that Playoff run. While the rest can start looking forward to regime change and rough diamonds in the draft. More of a prick tease than a Dallas cheerleader. But you can find a crumb of hope in there somewhere.? Unlike the shower we all follow this side of the pond.

GO G MEN.

Chris Grier finally gone not that he was all that was wrong. One look at the state our backfield shows it certainly is a big problem.
Last night's Ravens match was a pretty ugly watch all round. It was weird as we were actually moving the ball pretty easily before finding new and interesting ways to balls it up. The tripping penalty was pretty harsh as Ollie Gordon slipped over and the "trip" was a complete accident. Tua would still have got the pass off easily even if the trip hadn't happened either.

How the fuck did I end up a West Ham and Raiders fan. 0-2 to Brentford and 0-31 to the Chiefs in less than 24 hours. Soul destroying ! Our last 3 QBs , Noodle arm Jimmy G, mincing Minshew and now the walking pick Gino Smith. Pete needs to retire.

That line with Mangold at centre, and Ferguson and (later) Colon either side of him, was outstanding. They created the time and space for runners like Thomas Jones, Shonn Greene, Ladainian Tomlinson and Chris Ivory to consistently top 1,000 yards.

They had to, of course, because our QBs were always quite poor!

Proper player, Nick Mangold.
