Maybe I missed it, but was it definitely strangers attacked? If not terrorism was it a gang beef amongst themselves. Not taking away from the fact that it's a fucking disgrace to be happening. Of course everyone on board would have ran away and hid, but were the passengers chased and targeted?

I am struggling to get my head around how slitting the throats of strangers on a public train isn't terrorism related.

Surely causing terror in a public place is the sheer definition of terrorism.

But it seems the perpetrators weren't Muslim, so it's can't be terrorism.

Supt John Loveless says armed officers boarded the train and arrested two people within eight minutes of the 999 calls.There are two men in police custody. They are a 32-year-old male black British male and 35-year-old British national of Caribbean descent. They are arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
