Fullkrug Speaks Out
Well dolne to the bloke. Unfortunately I didn't actually see his interview but imo he said some things that needed saying. There's clearly a divided camp and so I guess the question needs to be asked why the players who are, according to Fullkrug, not playing to instructions are still being picked.
As many people have pointed out before there is no relegation danger so there is absolutely no downside to throwing a few kids and squad players into the team and leaving out the offenders.. Alvarez was missing completely from the squad yesterday, as was Wan Bissaka. Apparently AWB picked up an in jury in training, which explains his absence, but Alvarez is apparently leaving cryptic messages on social media saying something like "all will soon be revealed". That suggests he may be one of those soon out of the door.
But it's good that someone has had the balls to speak out.. There's clearly a lot wrong and sweeping shit under the carpet has nevcer been the right way to clear up a nasty smell.,

Is Nuno a decent coach??
Fulkrug is injury prone, slow as some old biddy and fucking shit.

He'll still be an out of his depth lumbering gutless sack of gappy toothed shit that has no business being in this league. Throw the cսnt in the stiffs, fuck his world cup ambitions, how about some fucking do your job ambition you ugly fucking donkey?

Yeah, sort of agree fella.
Although I see ze German as more of a 1 in 6 player, as in fit for 1 game in every 6.

Re: Fullkrug Speaks Out
We need to sign a player in his early 20s , a bit of a unit, blessed with pace and obviously a decent technical and goalscoring pedigree.
If moving on Fulkrug is necessary to make that happen then so be it. Fulkrug's fitness is too unreliable before we get to anything else.

Yep - different figures get reported. But he's on around that, tax free, for the duration of his contract.
We can't afford that, or anything close to it. Which means his side would have to take a MASSIVE hit on his retained wages if we wanted to come to us on loan. And what's in that for them?
More likely they'll shop him around the bigger sides who can afford a bigger % of his salary.

The cսnt seems to care more about getting in the German squad than he does about giving us some value for money. Fuck off.

But we should send Fullkrug as far away from Rush Green as humanly possible on 1st Jan.
Absolute waste of space. Yet another of this era's many candidates for "worst signing".

Keep. But only so we can dangle him tarred and feathered from below the helter skelter outside the Stadium as a permanent reminder of what a gutless usless wanker he's been and the perfect symbol of GSB's time in charge struggling to always get a decent fit Striker.

Ivan Toney?
He's probably on more per week now than what Barry Fry offered to Sullivan to buy him all those years ago.
Sullivan is such a stupid fucking idiot.

Re: Fullkrug Speaks Out
Another disastrous signing that we will do our shirt on
Should have been shifted to Germany in the summer where we would have to subsidise his wages
Should happen in January
Saw talk of Ivan Toney on loan in January as he wants to increase his chances of going to the World Cup
Believe he still has his own teeth & hair & isn’t an OAP so worth a try

Re: Fullkrug Speaks Out
Marshall didn’t look out of his depth the other night! He’s lively and mobile; I would give him a go !
Re: Fullkrug Speaks Out
It's hard to see Antonio as the solution to this situation, even if it's only as backup. Trouble is, this is going to mean Wilson gets a lot more time on the pitch - knowing his fragility, it probably won't be long before he gets injured too. I rate Marshall very highly and I'm kind of glad that he'll get more minutes, if only to take the strain off Wilson. But we could easily go from a bad situation to being right up shit creek here.

That's as maybe, but it does need to be acknowledged Fullkrug was not Stiedten's first target. Not that his first target would have been a success or even come as we've said, but nevertheless. It doesn't change the fact Fullkrug was a piss poor alternative- completely different player as well. Headscratcher.
It's mildly fascinating how Sullivan always seemingly refuses to fork out for strikers who are or turn out to be good, and splurges on the ones who are or turn to utter shit. Some of that is bound to be the utter dysfunction any striker coming in finds themselves slap bang in the middle of, but he is a shocking judge of strikers on the whole.

Who knows? Ultimately, he’s just very injury prone, and too slow and/or weak for the Premier League. We knew this when we signed him for £27m, too.
Our scouting and transfer team really needed shooting during that period.

Although not saying Duran would have been a success here because we don't know, but of course he was Stiedten's first choice who Sullivan wouldn't fork out for. Stiedten's back up plan turned out to be fucking piss poor though.

Re: Fullkrug Speaks Out
Course not. Sullivan has a clear misunderstanding/undervaluation of the striker position in modern football. It seems he thinks you can plug any (old) body in and it'll work when all past evidence at the club in recent history suggests it won't. Possibly the success Moyes got from Arnie and Antonio has obscured things for him. Maybe burnt by scouting or sanctioning the purchase of two expensive very ill fitting players in Haller and Scamacca. I think with Scamacca three is no doubt he was a Sullivan buy against Moyes' wishes.
Centre forwards are probably a bit overvalued in the modern game compared to other positions with the money outlaid in recent times but the reason is THEY SCORE FUCKING GOALS and make the difference when you buy the right one for your team or scout potential talent well. I feel like he's trying to game the system, look to cut corners or assume a striker can just make up for any other shortcomings in your squad and play a really crap version of moneyball which absolutely doesn't work in the slightest. There are some things you can't cut corners with. In addition there's no shortage of serviceable players out there in that position. Countless other premier league teams have found them in recent years for reasonable prices. Bournemouth. Brighton, Forest, Palace etc. Difference is they all have a functioning team behind them that plays in a way to give them opportunities. We haven't had that for about three years.
