Im halfway through Trespasses.
if youre into the 70s, the troubles and sex - its right up your street. Probably won't be a happy ending but its an easy watch, 4 x 50 min episodes, and Gillian Anderson does a great turn.

Mrs V is watching Blue Lights, I must admit I only caught a bit of it, but are all the ones in charge women? I did ask her and if it was a BBC production, she told me to fuck off.

Getting a bit bored with slow horses
Blue Lights is maybe the best thing from the BBC right now, brilliant show, season 1 and 2 where superb and so far, season 3 (4 episodes in) is even better.

Hope we get a season 4..........

Like Slow Horses as well, and the first 2 seasons are excellent and the best IMO, but getting a bit stale now, still a good watch, just not as good as before.

It's alright is probably the best I can say about it, although I'm only 2 episodes in.

There just doesn't seem to be any talent like there was back then.  It's like the interviews with the Hollywood Stars, Cagney, Jimmy Stewart, Kirk Douglas, even now watching those interviews there was an air of mystique.  Maybe it's all this socal media etc, where you get to know about everyone and everything, and half of it is bullshit.  I suspect a lot of them were lost when the BBC used to over write tapes for space.

there's a very brief interview with Dick Emery, for me another brilliant performer. it's just a shame the full interview isn't avbailable, as he's so funny

zico, you must have seen this one? It's great

I’ve been rewatching Rescue Me, the firefighter drama comedy set just after 9/11. It’s very funny, definitely made for blokes and arguably Denis Leary’s best work .

Started season 3 of Blue Lights, thought seasons 1 and 2 where good but this is next level so far!

Say what you want about the BBC, yes, the news coverage is lefty and woke bollocks at times but fuck me they can still make an excellent and griping Police drama!

Superb stuff this....

Two excellent series, gutted there won't be a third.

New Tulsa King is out and the 2nd series of Landman is out next month

Also, terminal list is very good as well.

I live in ireland and couldnt get into 'Kin' at all when it was on tv here, and it wasnt overly popular. love/hate is another irish gang drama if you are interested and much better imo. Aiden Gillen is in both.
