A good presenter. And knew his onions. Back when Top Gear was about car’s. And not a “Cult of Personality’s.”

Always liked his style presenting Top Gear. The 1990s vintage. Good campaigner for lower fuel costs for motorists too. RIP

Didn't even know he was ill. Used to like his used car guide in the back of the Top Gear magazine.
