There is 100% a trend associated with these "random" attacks.

I can't see it clearly yet but it is there, like something vague appearing out of an early morning mist.

Why do I claim this?

A gut feeling from working in identifying trends in fraudulent activity in the area I've been working in since 1973. It's there.

These attacks/incidents are definitely being triggered, but whatever the trigger is, there's no obvious on line connection.

My best guess at the moment is that the perpetrators have been given a key word to listen out for early in their education/indoctrination and then, when they hear it, act using their own intuitive, but beyond that...???

All of the big retailers are and have warned her against this course of action.

A mate of mine works for the countries biggest retailer and they are already seeing the effects of her rhetoric on footfall. Their budget for next year will have a market forces overlay which is basically the impact of her upcoming budget on customer spending.
