Tim nice but dim pulls plug on Beeb career

He's run a car crash of an organisation that's got way out of hand with so many gaffes from the Trump splicing lies to the Deathto the IDF fiasco in the summer. Another CEO Doris also gets the boot.

👏

Nothing more these days than just a Leftist propaganda machine.

Defund the BBC.

I hope Trump is serious with his legal threat and they get taken to the cleaners.

The British Brainwashing Corporation have had the fucking neck to treat their viewers like children, repeatedly warning them against fake news, things they’ve read on social media etc etc, whilst coming out with utter bullshit themselves. The ‘carnival atmosphere’ outside vaccine centres during Covid, being my favourite amongst their lies.

They can’t even report on things like vaping, without complete untruths going under their famous truth verifier radar. Tobacco has no taste and vaping is just as dangerous as smoking if you believed some of the shit they’ve had ‘experts’ spouting.

Trivial perhaps, but they seem obsessed with the subject and if they can’t report on things like that impartially and truthfully, then what hope any other more important subjects like global news?

Time to pull the plug on them, or at the very least make them give up on that truth verifier shit, as if they have a monopoly on truth.

They treat viewers like children and are a pale reflection of the great institution they once were.

Pull the fucking plug.

GB News is going to have BBC whistleblower today to detail how an activist group of young alphabet he/she/theys are acting as gatekeepers at the BBC and not allowing any LGBT negative or critical stories to pass.

If this is the case we can assume, fairly, that every department operates in kind, eg the Steele dossier v Hunter's noncey laptop, Israeli self defence v Hamas terrorism, pakistani rape squads v vulnerable teenage girls, Kweer's evaporating Ukrainian rent boys, pangolin fucking chinamen starting pandemics and taking donations from Bill "never met a vaccine I didn't like" Gates.

Indeed, a mistake is something you didn't intend to do, those cunts fully knew what the fuck they were doing. They must think we were born yesterday, wankers. I'm not a Trump supporter by any means.

I see words like 'oversight' and 'mistake' are being bandied about by those defending the BBC.
This latest episode was not a mistake, it was out and out election interference. But there are those willing to shrug it off because the target was Trump.

A claim in Florida? Panorama was never aired in the US & the iplayer isn’t available

Easily overturned in the high court assuming section 32 of the Limitation Act (1980) is still applicable.

The fact it was never aired in the US works in Trump's favour, there's precedent for the High Court to allow an application to disapply the limitation as Trump will have acted reasonably and promptly upon learning of the offending material.

It also looks like Florida  law would allow the claim as long as British law would allow a claim on the same grounds. Statute of limitations in Florida is 2 years.

No politician (with any sense and desire to keep their seat) is going to suggest a judgement comes from anywhere but the BBC's kick and an inflation busting licence fee raise to cover it will be unpalatable.

If Trump wins at the very least he'll kill the licence fee, hopefully he'll burn the whole cancerous arsehole to ash.

I’d happily see the bbc shrink their output & focus more on quality rather than moronic dancing & karaoke. And embarrassing shit like Eastenders
They could introduce program sponsorship rather than in show advertising
Dont also mind a subscription model at a NetFlix level of cost with a better restriction on thieves trying to access it
Stealing streaming should be a £10,000 fine & a year in jail

If they ( the bbc) truely believe they are putting out world class content then they would open it up to subscription, confident that their content is so good it'd quite easily pay for itself. But they know, like we all know that without the licence fee there  would be no BBC. I personally pay the licence fee as my Mrs watches a lot of docs and I listen to BBC sounds so I wont be a hypocrite but it is fucking abhorrent that people HAVE to pay to get lied to.
Its a great shame as there was a time when the rest of the world envied the BBC. It would be interesting if the majority of licence payers cancelled their direct debits, they can't lock up everyone or threaten/fine them though I did read a while back that it was proposed that a tv licence be included in council tax which would be outrageous. Either way, the future of the Beeb is uncertain at best.

Those suggestions have been proven correct.  There's now no doubt about it., the BBC are impartial.  That's why Tim Davie and Deborah Turness had to resign.

I hope Trump does go for them for $1bn.  It's not coming out of my pocket as I don't pay the licence fee.

Yeah, it is a little bit crazy that.

Several on here have been suggesting that the BBC has lost it's impartiality - I don't think as far back as our .com days, but certainly for a decade, at least.

Still, what do football fans know, eh? Especially those from a very unfashionable part of town.

They do some decent dramas. The "Empire" based documentaries piss me off because they come across like the British invented slavery.
