The thing that might get him on the plane is his ability to also play CF.

I'd imagine Tuchel will have noticed he's an abysmal CF.

Bowen arguably in better form than Saka.  I thought Eze was poor last night.

That's what I thought, when I've seen him play he's more over to the left?

Odd because for 50min we looked good for 1-0 and maybe more.

I hope Gattuso is a stop gap for this World Cup. Hopefully we avoid the mighty Ireland in the playoffs.

Not qualifying would be a disaster, but on the plus side it means avoiding all those cringey Italian Americans.
Cringey as they are, this world cup needs the Irish and Italian yanks to fill the stadiums and buy the merchandise.

The balls will have go in the freezer for the draw, I expect both to go through . . .

Italy smashed 4-1 at home by Norway so in the playoffs
Haaland scored twice. Scored in all 8 qualifiers… 16 goals

England have a lot of options in forward positions
Assuming they have the traditional 23 man squad rather than 26 Bowen may well get edged out
Tuchel will take Rashford & Gordon on the left & Saka & Palmer on the right
He has Bellingham, Roger’s & Foden …. one of those may also miss out too
Ditto one of Rice, Wharton & Anderson

In a must win game he starts Isak on the Bench and only brings him on once they go 2-1 down for the final 25 minutes. 🤣

Anyone chatting shit about bowen can meet me at the bull in stratford

ireland. The most engrossing 5 minutes of football in years. Everyone forward including kelleher, all or nothing. A lot of the irish team aint that irish - and thats coming from a half like me - but Parrott is a proper working class inner city dubliner. 5 goals in 2 games v portugal and hungary,  If ferguson had been fit . . . . would they have got through?

Portugal beat Armenia 9-1 without the mahogany muppet Ronaldo
Any manager brave enough to tell him he is finished?

The Ireland game v hungary is quite entertaining. 1 down after 3 mins have just equalised (penalty) they have to win to get in the playoffs. Ex hammers Cullen and Coventry involved, Fatty Fergs injured.

Good thing that the Brazil v Senegal friendly was played at Arsenal so no travel & minimal game time for our players
Diouf on as a 76th min sub with Brazil 2-0 up
Paqueta on after 83mins

To make it more consistent I’d say a player anywhere inside the 6 yd box who is in an offside position is deemed to be offside automatically wherever he is in relation to the keeper & the ball

It’s one of those that sometimes gets given, sometimes doesn’t. If it happened against us or one of the other insignificant teams then it would hardly have been discussed or given any column inches. Why do we all have to suddenly give a fuck because Liverpool get a 50:50 decision against them? Entitled fucking pricks.

The other thing I thought was what if Robertson headed the ball the other way instead of ducking? Even though he would have been offside I still think instinctively the keeper has to think about what Robertson might do. I think that’s why “interfering with play” means exactly that. If you have to be considered in anyway then you’re in play.
