What this shows is how LITTLE Spurs supporters know about football or the people who play it.

This lad might not play for England but neither did Bonds or Noble and they had great careers with us.

I like the lad, think he is exactly what we needed and a definite to captain us one day, I like the fact even at his young age he talks a lot during the game.

The fact that he got injured after just a couple of starts further demonstrates how ill-equipped this lad is for the PL.

We have Bowen but much as he's a great player, he's not a captain and isn't vocal enough. Potts looks like he has more about his personality for the role of shouting at useless cunts, a full time job with our squad.
He's 22 and is more than ready. Plenty of first team experience under his belt first at league one then championship where both times he became an automatic first choice.

I'm not expecting a superstar but I am expecting somebody who is good enough to start regularly in the first team. To begin with that's good enough for me. We needed a replacement for Noble and he definitely falls into that category as far as my eyes can see.
Spot on! He is more a Mark Noble replacement than a Declan Rice replacement. Someone who can sit in midfield, break up play and give the ball to the likes of Fernandes and Paqueta. He keeps it simple.

As for the site cսnt writing off Scarles and Marshall, what a fucking fool. He should worry more about Spurs youngsters than ours.

Hopefully the weight of expectation now heaped on Potts does not cause a problem. He certainly seems an assured, level headed lad so can handle it but he will have some off days as all players, especially younger ones, do.

Thats where Nuno and coaches do their job. Managing a player, protecting them but not overprotecting them as Potter allegedly did although I think Potter lacked the emotional fortitude to tell senior, experienced players they were on the bench.  Anyway, we need Potts, Fernandes, Paqueta and Magassa to really step up until Jan and the rest of the season.

They have time to develop along with Kante, Fearon & others

It's obviously to me Potts will make it in the Premier League

Much like it is obvious to me that Scarles and Marshall ultimately won't as they are League 1 level players and out of their depth in the Premier League.
