World Cup Tickets
Anyone else been looking at this?
First nightmare, ticket prices are 1000s of US dollars!!! They have a resale option for unwanted tickets from the early sale. I looked at one game and prices were from 1800 to 11500 US dollars!! I heard said they were expensive, but that made me think a 100, maybe 200, but 1000s! It's a piss take.
Second nightmare, group matches will be played across different cities in different countries and you will probably have to travel over a 1000 miles between venues for different group games!
It is just bare faced robbery. With no thought of the fans.
It is so sad what these money grabbing cunts are doing to every part of our game.
I really wanted to go, but cannot see it at the moment. I'll see what happens after the draw on the 5th Dec. Maybe it's a bit better through the football association...

Re: World Cup Tickets
You couldn't pay me to go the US dictatorship at the moment and the World Cup is almost meaningless now until you get to the last 16. I mean who wants to watch these little countries get 10 put past them or scramble a 0-0 against each other. The Trump Soccer World Cup which is how it will be called when it comes round, especially by that obsequious little turd Infantino, will be fucking awful. As for prices, my mate who works there fairly frequently said, as an example, he ordered a McDonalds breakfast for him and his missus and it was $35. He says prices in the States nowadays are horrific. Good luck and you need your head testing if you're going.

Re: World Cup Tickets
Scottish fans need to be wary
Not sure Trump will be best pleased when a bunch of men in skirts turn up
Turned around at the airport or deported to Guantanamo

Can't wait for a repeat of the "Best fans in the world", everyone loves em narrative we had to endure every day during the Euros like it was the main event

If it stays like that will just be a tournament played in empty stadiums.

Re: World Cup Tickets
It will be shite anyway i imagine.......till the knockouts anyway. Who wants to spend all that money and effort to see group games featuring Curacao or Uzbekistan??
As you say huge travel costs, scorching weather and half the stadium filled with UEFA delegates.

Re: World Cup Tickets
Compare this to UEFA's pricing of the Euros last year - it cost something like £330 for tickets to all of England's games in total. My Final ticket was 95 Euros. These were 'Fans First' admittedly, but FIFA aren't doing that. And you have to pay miles in advance, which they then keep for months after before eventually refunding (UEFA charge per game).
This World Cup can fuck off (although I've got a flight booked for the Final!). It doesn't have to fuck off as far as the last one which I boycotted, mind you (unless we'd got to the Final!).

Re: World Cup Tickets
What else did you expect from FIFA?
I always thought they promoted football as the "peoples" game, seems it only the rich "people" they were talking about, those who can go and see this kind of tournament.
Meanwhile the FIFA coffers get a huge boost, someone has to pay for delegates/officials and hangers on and their hookers, private jets and first-class 5-star hotels with fine wine, gourmet dinning and caviar on tap!
Fuck em, and fuck the World Cup
