Anyone seen FBI series from 2018? I believe there are a couple of spin offs? Stumbled across it on Prime and can't believe I haven't heard of it before. A few episodes in and I'm hooked.

The Death of Bunny Munroe is a must.  Not a fan of Matt Smith but he's excellent.

The Iris Affair is a great yarn and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, Down Cemetery Road is well worth a watch.

On 2, hope it continue as it is. The old Mum, and son relationship is a bit unsettling though.

Caine's autobiography is good value ..his description of the dog closing the door behind him  on the set of ZULU is priceless.

Thanks for the heads up, can't believe I haven't read that one.  Have read "Blowing the Bloody Doors Off", "The Elephant to Hollywood" and "Don't Look Back, You Will Trip Over" but not "What's It All About?".  Found it on Amazon so thanks.  Reading Parky's autobiography at the moment, very good.  If you like your autobiographies Roger Moore's books are a great read, very funny.

He isn't. Monsieur is maybe getting it mixed up with another new series that Gilligan did write, Pluribus.

The Beast In Me is the next of my thriller list. Anyone watched it yet? 

One episode in and as hooked as hell. Believe the hype it is looking excellent and Mathew Rhys is an excellent actor.  Danes is playing Carrie like character again.all manic and emotional which is a bit irritating. Same writer as Homeland init. 

 

I agree with that ...she was basically carrie ....same goes  for Jonathan Banks as MIKE Ermantroot
This series was average ...at best.
Gilligan will always be up against it after breaking bad a ànd better call saul.

Yep, brillant, the guy was a genius.  Some of my favourite Parky interviews were with Michael Caine.  Very funny guy with a story or two to tell.

I thought Malice was pretty good. Jack Whitehall out of character as a nasty SOB. worked well.

As said before not one for box sets usually and dumped Lazarus after a couple of episodes but I must say I'm hooked on Sky's "All Her Fault" to the extent I want to skip right through to the last episode. Pretty well done. 

Just an update. Wow, finished it in three days and had no idea where that was going. Slow in places but stick with it, quite a series.

Finished first season of Landman last night, very good series.

Under the Banner of Heaven is good - just need to stick past the first episode - it's on ITVX and based on a true crime story in the 80s involving Mormonism.

Alpha Males on Netflix is in Spanish but the first couple of series are a good laugh - currently on season 3.
