Sorry the post is late up.

After what feels like an age since we limped past Burnley, we're off to the seaside to take on many peoples favourite second team, Bournemouth.

All hussle, bustle and high intensity, Iraola's mob are the modern watch word for modern style, and there is plenty to be concerned about with talented forwards and great energy in the side.  But they've lost the last two, comprehensively against Villa, and if there is a good time to play them....maybe it's now.

After the last international break, Nuno went full Looney Tunes....let's hope for a modcum of sense this time around.

Predicted Lineup:

Hard to see beyond a team similar to the last few games, but with Paquéta suspended, all eyes will be on who replaces him from a squad devoid of any real creative influence.

No doubt the temptation will be to shoehorn Soucek into the side, but against the high energy Cherries, it surely has to be Magassa, with Fernandes pushing forwards.
Areola

Wan Bisaka  Todibo  Kilman  Diouf

Magassa Potts

Bowen         Fernandes            Summerville

Wilson
Subs: Hermansen, Mavropanos, Igor, KWP, Soucek, Irving, Kante, Guilherme, Earthy

Predicted Score:  A desmond.....2-2  (Willson, Soucek)

That was an absolute disgusting second half  performance. I’ve never been so ashamed of our football. We completely gave up trying, and treated Bournemouth like they were Real Madrid.

I’d have lost my rag with Nuno if I was Callum Wilson. What that cսnt was thinking I’ll never know. Playing defensive only football will get us relegated so long as Kilman is stinking up the pitch.

11 games in and already I can’t wait for this season to be over.

His pristine kit always looks immaculate at the final whistle. Never, ever see him getting himself dirty and stuck right in the German fanny. For such a big geezer as well he minces around the pitch like a cuck asking around politely if anyone's seen his wife at all - in football terms meaning the ball.

Cannot wait till he fucks off in January, the massive waste of space. 💩

We completely run out of steam at 60 mins. It was absolutely a point won thx to Areoka and Wilson because Bmouth should have scored 4 or 5 if Areola’s legs were so long.

Nuno made bizarre subs. Weakened an increasingly struggling midfield.  Thats why Bmouth got on top and rrmoving Fernandes was suicidal imho.

We are so slow as a squad and it was just hoof it back to them most of the game.

Kilman slowest of the slow and gave them the psychological boost they needed with a needless handball. He had to slide because he’s so fvckin slow.

Areola MOTM by a country mile.
Todibo was our best defender.
Wilson for 2 goals from nothing

They were our 3 outstanding players and Bowen did ok with no service.
Fernandes and Potts tired and started struggling from the 60 min mark but Potts battled all game so did ok.

All Nuno’s subs weakened us.  And Magassa must be absolute gash if he cant get any minutes. He wss exactly what we needed in a game where we were being overrun by their speed and movement.

Anyway a point stolen in the end

Not seen it but sounds like we’ve stolen a point
Stats are horrendous
24% possession, XG 4.08 v 0.65, 10 shots on target to 2
Bournemouth are a decent team even without Semenyo but that’s poor

Didn't watch it but it didn't surprise me we didn't hold on to a two goal lead and in fact should have lost in the end by all accounts.

Radically good business in the January transfer window is the only way we will avoid relegation.

Well who saw that second half onslaught coming?!  🙄 Areola gets credit for earnning a point or it could have been six.  Ok with the wind it was going to be tough and not much on the bench but both tactics and substitutions baffling.  Füllkrug was embarrasingly lazy when he came on, strolling about, you can't tell me that Wilson would have run any less than that.  A point but very fortunate.

Hope I don't see that sort of surrender from the manager again this season but probably would have taken a point at the start.

Thanks to Nuno's wacky tactics 2nd half of taking off Wilson early who was on course for getting the Man of the Match award, he ends up swapping it for the Keeper Areola who managed in the end to save us a point. 🤪

Well...  we certainly threw THAT away didn't we..?

That could easily be our last point for 4 or 5 games now - if ever we needed a win, today was the day.

Senesi coming in studs up at knee height on Bowen. Wonder if that would have been yellow had it been against arsenal.

Take the point. Fuck me second half was a tough watch.
