Weekend PL Games - 29th & 30th November
29 November 2025 15:00
Brentford v Burnley
League Position [12 v 19] Favours: Brentford
Current form [24 v 21] favours: Brentford
Not a game Burnley will relish - obviously they need something here in order yo stop them getting cut adrift from the rest of the pack. Having said that:
Home Win
Manchester City v Leeds United
League Position [3 v 18] Favours: Manchester City
Current form [33 v 13] favours: Manchester City
Like Burnley, Leeds also need some points on the table, PDQ. Can't see that happening here:
Home Win
Sunderland v A. F. C. Bournemouth
League Position [6 v 7] Favours: Sunderland
Current form [29 v 19] favours: Sunderland
Have read some comments about Sunderland's PL "honeymoon" being over. I'm not so sure that it is (yet), and the league positions suggest:
Draw
29 November 2025 17:30
Everton v Newcastle United
League Position [13 v 14] Favours: Newcastle United
Current form [12 v 18] favours: Newcastle United
Both teams seem to be struggling to get started and put a winning run together. I feel that Newcastle are struggling less in that aspect:
Draw
29 November 2025 20:00
Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham
League Position [8 v 15] Favours: Tottenham Hotspur
Current form [19 v 15] favours: Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from their European adventure this week, but Fulham are starting to show signs of a team courting with free fall:
Home win
30 November 2025 12:00
Crystal Palace v Manchester United
League Position [9 v 10] Favours: Crystal Palace
Current form [21 v 32] favours: Manchester United
Well. What can one say? In Manchester United's favour, this game is not at Old Trafford, and Palace may just about have enough. However:
Draw
30 November 2025 14:05
Aston Villa v Wolverhampton Wanderers
League Position [4 v 20] Favours: Aston Villa
Current form [30 v 3] favours: Aston Villa
Local rivalry may gee up Wolves, but I can only see that resulting in a card or two.
Home win
Nottingham Forest v Brighton & Hove Albion
League Position [16 v 5] Favours: Brighton & Hove Albion
Current form [5 v 29] favours: Brighton & Hove Albion
Was last week's result for Forrest an indication that Dyche has got them working or simply an indication that Liverpool have lost their rudder? I suspect the latter:
Away win
West Ham United v Liverpool
League Position [17 v 11] Favours: Liverpool
Current form [16 v 15] favours: West Ham United
This could get quite tetchy. Maybe of more interest/importance is how much the officials let Liverpool get away with, given that the footballing authorities/media absolutely need Liverpool to be in next year's Champions League.
Draw
30 November 2025 16:30
Chelsea v Arsenal
League Position [2 v 1] Favours: Arsenal
Current form [30 v 45] favours: Arsenal
Arsenal do appear to be on a roll, but you've got to have something about you to be 2nd in the PL:

I fancy Chelsea to beat Arsenal. Apparently Cole Palmer is back for Chelsea.

Some shocking decisions there over the years. The noble red card given to placate the locals after sending one of theirs off earlier in the game which they were behind in.

I fuckin hate scousers, as someone once said, "Nope can't understand a word they say and if they can't be bothered to learn the language, how are they going to integrate"
Why would Nuno start without a striker when he's done that in the last three games and will clearly start Wilson again if he's fit?

You just KNOW we will be the end of their losing streak. Make you right- some sort of flukey goal(s) or dodgy VAR decision- nailed on.
However that aside and in all seriousness it is a great time to be playing them and hopefully avoiding the above and the usual unbelievable bad luck that goes hand in hand with us playing them, optimistic we can get something out of this and hopefully all three points.
