I alluded to it on the match thread. Some of the decisions against him have been beyond harsh this season. The first yellow he got today is just not a yellow for an other player. No chance. You see players literally shout fuck off at refs and get no punishment. He just threw his arm in the air in frustration. Yes he shouldn’t have kicked off after, but these pricks are without a doubt looking for a reason to book him. It feels premeditated. Call it conspiracy if you like but I’ve thought it a few times. 

He’s now put something on X to suggest that’s how he feels. 

Yes he’s a multi millionaire footballer who should get a stiffer upper lip but that was a clear head loss and continued sarcastic messaging to the FA, and I do have a little bit of empathy. This is the same outfit that desperately tried to fit him up for two years without a shred of credible evidence.
