Hamilton off to the Reds
Hamilton off to the Reds
"Hamilton off to Ferrari by the looks of it in 2025. Bit like the clash, should he stay or should he go?"

Re: Hamilton off to the Reds
"In the past numerous times they've done things with their cars which are against the regs or at the very least an interesting 'interpretation' of the rules- mainly around flexing parts of the car which are meant to be rigid for aero advantage, but largely two things recently. Coincidentally developing a ground effect road car 'separately' from the F1 project ahead of ground effect cars coming into the sport to circumnavigate various difficulties in doing so, and also breaking the budget cap which absolutely gave them an advantage over all the other nine teams who abided by it. No coincidence they were miles ahead of everyone else when the new regulations kicked in and look uncatchable."

"I like Hamilton, for what ever reason the British public seem to hate success stories and prefer plucky losers, so he's not popular at all. Really hope this works out and he's back wining races and titles again."

"Yup I think so too. Either he knows something no-one else does Like when he jumped from McLaren, Merc are going to be shit, or everyone is going to be an also ran so he might as well just fulfil an ambition. Also the possibility they want him to help them sort out their messy as fuck organisation like Schumacher when the Mercedes project started as part driver part consultant. They are in a constant shambles with engineering, strategy and pit stops, silly mistakes and leaving loads of points on the table and all sorts. Or a mentor for Leclerc who is talented as fuck but has lost his way."

Re: Hamilton off to the Reds
"I think he knows that Red Bull will be too quick again this year and just wants to finish his career with a dream move to Ferrari. It's well known his admiration for them. So why not, he's arguably already the greatest driver of all time. Hopefully the gap closes over the next year also and we see Lewis back on the podium much more. What about a Monza win for Ferrari on his last season. Would be a site for sure!"

Re: Hamilton off to the Reds
"It's huge for F1. I'm in two minds if he should or not. Lots of factors. Either he knows already Merc aren't going to get back to the top so it's a tactical shift (and look how well his last team swap went) or he's accepted that no-one is going to catch the cheats at Red Bull regardless so he's just fulfilling an ambition. The most famous driver by a mile in the most famous car by a mile is massive for the sport. But yeah, most responses on here will just be slagging him or the sport off."
