Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Well seems like with all these international breaks, and us languishing, the rumours of ins and outs are rife.
Chuck anything 'worthy' of discussion on this thread...

Would be a solid addition.Yeh he was great at Forest mate.
I’m not fussed about the goings on at Forest ‘mate’.

‘Alarm bells ringing’ – West Ham emerge as ‘strong contender’ to sign €12.7m player
West Ham United are in the picture to sign Boca Juniors’ Milton Delgado.
That’s at least what El Intransigente are reporting, and they cover how West Ham can sign the 20-year-old in the winter market.
The defensive midfielder was part of the Argentina squad that lost the U20 World Cup final to Morocco in October. Since this tournament, he has featured regularly for Boca Juniors.
Delgado’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed in Europe and has attracted interest from several European clubs. West Ham have been added to this list.
It’s claimed Nuno Espírito Santo’s side have emerged as a ‘strong contender’ to sign the player. The report says that’s why the ‘alarm bells are ringing’ at the South American club.
As things stand, Boca Juniors haven’t received a formal offer from the Hammers or any other club. However, there’s expectation that a proposal ‘could be imminent’.
Delgado’s contract is until December 2028. El Intransigente report his release clause as of today is $15m [€12.7m] and Boca Juniors are looking for a similar amount to sanction his sale.
Earlier claims mentioned Brighton & Hove Albion as an interested party ahead of January.

If we are somehow able to gain 6 points we are not just back with Leeds but suddenly right in it with about 6-7 other clubs, which is incredibly helpful. We are then not just beholden to the form of one other club. Big ask to get there but 11th to 17th is only separated by five points.
However we absolutely need to beat Fulham and Brighton.

Can we stop poncing players from relegated sides for a fair bit of dough as we are still suffering from forking out for Summverville from Leeds, on top of every kther relegation roger clone. Then we wonder why our Squad with it's fragile mentality aint good enough and up to the task for our relegation battle..Not sure you've read it properly, or I've phrased it properly.
It will be a championship signing if we go down; a player to get us back up. It's not a suggestion for now or the PL.
I'm still hoping (forlornly maybe) we still stay up at Leeds expense who I think will get relegated come the end of the season, so if that is the case I hope we stear clear of keep scavenging the remains of a relegated sides carcass.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
It was his previous 2 seasons he had was when he looked the part when the pressure wasn't so intense as it is now in a struggling Team like this season. Like Fernandes, Walker-Peters and Hermansen however they can have all the ability in the world but if they've been overexposed to relentless beatings it's going to have a bad impact on them mentally to shake off. They're certainly not usually the types of players a Club goes for if you now want to rely on them to turn an oil tanker heading for relegation around. They probably have worse PTSD than our current lot!
So of course the BS Regime consider them for proper dough for the privilege...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
He's a proper weird one that Strand Larsen. We made him look like peak Haaland when he came on and turned the cup tie around, but apart from 1 from 11 in the league, those 2 were the only goals he's scored this season.
I couldn't fathom what possessed Newcastle to bid £55m in the summer... then I could... and now I can't again.
I still favour a big, strong, fast, young option myself
Then again, if it was him or Josh Sargent...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
If I put aside the shocking timing of going for yet another Roger Relegator type with buying players used to losing, as a Striker I actually like Larsen. The risk hoping he'd suddenly turn his form on is extremely high. Only a Club like us would go for him right now in both the Clubs situation. So very BS.

My guess is Milan won’t buy him after the loan, and we’ll be lumped with the lump.
Milan paying his wages is about as good as it gets for us.

We should just let them keep him, for free.
We're gonna get less than fuck all for him anyway.
Get rid, no more pant pulling

Hope we're not really in for Strand Larsson. He's a poor man's Andy Carroll. Puts himself about but he's hardly a prolific goalscorer.
Traore is fast but a headless chicken with very little end product.
I remember being impressed by Charlie Cresswell when he was at Leeds but is he the leader that we need?
Not looking very hopeful...

Should go for Brandon Thomas-Asante. Looked good whenever I've seen him for Coventry but he may not want to swap a Premier League bound club for a club potentially on the way out.

Fullkrug will probably do well in Milan. Giroud succeeded there at the end of his career.

Just buy a Rottweiler to play up front instead then. At least it would be a lot cheaper and keep a lead for a change.

Adama will be a great signing.
Someone who can actually chase and put defenders under pressure.
