Well in the post-Christmas haze, we gear up for a game that is absolutely massive.

The first of a run of 6 matches that will determine if we're in the fight to stay up, or prepping for the Championship, West Ham host Fulham in what really is a must win.

Whilst the visitors have had a poor start to the season, they're an established side that know what they're doing, have a manager who has firmly embedded his way of playing on the Club with an enviable attacking outlook, and they played us off the park in recent times.

West Ham no longer have Fullkrug for a selection option with his deal to Milan sewn up. Diouf and Wan Bissaka remains away at AFCON, but other than that there are no lingering injuries or selection issues, although Scarles was withdrawn in precaution in the last game.

Predicted LineUp.
Areola

KWP. Mavropanos. Todibo. Scarles

Magassa

Fernandes.  Paqueta

Bowen.           Wilson.       Summerville
Subs:Hermansen, Myers, Kilman, Potts, Rodriguez, Irving, Soucek, Earthy, Marshall

Predicted Result:

West Ham 2 - 1 Fulham
(Bowen, Paqueta pen)

A win feels a long time ago, and I don't expect this to be a pretty performance but more in hope than expectation think we'll scrape this over the line....more because of how desperately we need it.

Where's the precedent for him being worth more than that? It's one of the few things the club has done well in the last fifteen years, that deal. cսnt was chasing the money, they maximised the sale. As you say the money has been spent criminally or pocketed. But we're fucked now, might be refreshing to rebuild, but of a shame we'll be breaking up a promising young midfield though.

I bet most of the players behind Crackheads back talk a lot of shit about how useless he is with a lot of his wacky decisions he's made like dicking Wilson around, switching fullbacks about, or even Ward-Prowse fucking him off the second he got through the door like a proper weirdo. The kind of employee everyone dreads sitting next to in the canteen. Uh oh they say, here comes Crackie Chan, I'm off to the players lounge see ya...

Prick starts without a striker and as I said he should be sacked immediately for that alone. He had NOT improved us as the results prove. Get rid.

One move I can never tolerate is playing your best player not in his best position to fill another hole. Especially when you don’t even need to. Bowen does a job up front, of course, but we are infinitely better when he plays in his best position on the right - as was evidenced when Wilson came on. Whatever your views on Wilson, he knows how the be busy to occupy centre halves and free up Bowen. Absent another striker, it’s so obvious he has to start.

My only other comment, to save repeating others on the general topic of our fortunes - fucking Kilman - that pathetic prick genuinely tries everything to avoid heading a ball. I noticed it continually today. Heading the ball is his last resort. 6’4  Premier League centre half and scared to head the football. North of forty million quid. Fucking mental.

Dont talk shit, 105m was a fuckin robbery and still is. Letting the succession of useless cսnt managers spend that money was the problem. Moyes spent a fortune on shit like JWP. Lopetegui was backed and landed us this fucking useless prick Kilman amongst others. The imbecile and general wet flannel Potter wasn't really backed but they let him completely fucking dismantle the squad leaving the current fuckwit an absolute shitshow of a squad with holes, incompetents and bad attitudes to deal with. Even though Nuno is the best of an absolute soup of cunts, he's still not good enough tactically and throws points away with his stupid fucking wanker lineups, like today - no striker in a must win game, fucking ridiculous set up. He'll spend a load of cash on a load of randoms like the hapless Traore who is a of zero use to this squad but happens to have that fucking tapeworm Mendes as his agent, as most of the shit  players coming in will. We're fucked and the only silver lining is that Sullivan and fat tits have the world laughing at them and their personal fortunes will take a hit. I hope they both fucking die in a fire.

I just think Sullivan thinks like a basic fan and not like a football man who understands the game.
He's made 2 attempts to move the club on to attractive passing football (Pellegrini and Lopetegui). But he never understood who those managers really were beyond the basic stats of: they'd won stuff and managed fancy teams. Which sounds good on paper but is it what you actually need right now and do you have what they need to make it work?

And each big move like that and subsequent failure has needed major corrections, picking up non technical or problem players to get us out of a mess, which has led to where we are now, a very unbalanced squad that is finding it very hard to survive.

I just think if you cant see progression on the pitch over x period of time you have to get rid. I dont care how decorated anyone is. If this is a 3-5yr project for example, it only matters that you are progressing the playing style of the team gradually. Maybe we go down, but over the long term if we can be a better more solid club playing wise I'll be ok. But none of that park the bus bollocks from fat sam and Moyes. I can watch that. I just cant. Nuno is about as defensive as it gets for me.

True Tex.  whats really depressing is knowimg we are stuck with Family Sullivan at the helm in the Championship. They wont relinquish any power and definitely wont sell because they will want a Premier League price for a Championship club.

I could look forward to the Championship with Potts, Magassa, Fernandes, Diouf, Earthy and one or two other u21s along with continuing recruitment of young, hungry talent. But we will lise most of them as they ate the saleable assets and Sullivan is short term, will panic and try to sell everything he csn before doubling down on his way of piecemeal recruiting via agents. Whoever ieentified Magassa, Fernandes and Diouf shpuld be given the reigns? But Macaulay was dacked for blame purposes and Max Hahn will probably get the bullet as operatimg costs are slashed at the end of the season.

Sullivan is and always was clueless but beimg a narcissistic type he wont have the self awareness or ability to take any accountability. Things are about to get a lot worse.  We ae condemned to a life of torment and will continue to support the team though.

Ironic to see Fornals on the pitch pre game. A player who cared about the club.

Starting a must win game without a striker was insane. Being in a position where our only striker is a 34yo who is good for about 60mins a week is utter incompetence
We probably had 3 chances … Bowen’s flick wide, Wilson’s chance wide & one more he blasted over
I imagine everyone in the ground knew that late goal was coming
Fulham probably just edged it and were better on the ball

We needed to win 3 of these 4 games. Playing like today I don’t think we will win won. And being Wolves first win also feels inevitable
Sullivan & Brady have killed our club.
Happy New Year!

Sounds like a bloody wake more than a post match interview..

Good thing is Nuno realised he could sense their goal was coming. Reassuring bollocks if ever I heard it from 1 of our managers. 😆

Not sure we'll stay up, but it gives us the best chance.

Summerville is a good championship player but only a bench player in the PL. Wilson should be a 2nd/3rd choice striker, again from the bench - but there's no first choice - Fulkrug has been poor.

18 months ago, Steidten/Loppy spent nearly £80m on Fulkrug, Guilherme and Summerville - that's shocking. Then lost Antonio and sold Kudus.

That leaves Bowen. He can't carry the team.

I still dont think we are a terrible team. I know everyone's upset but I just dont see the same terrible shit that Potter, Loppy and Moyes were serving us. Even if you go by playing stats, currently I think  are a lot better than the last 3 managers at this club.

I just think Nuno has been left with the shittiest  parts of the squad that all 3 had and squandered.
Potter let go of Emerson, Alvarez, Aguered and Kudus! Whatever u think of them personally they are all highly rated and decorated top tier football players. They could have helped here.

Personally even if we go down (and I dont think we will), I'd rather be playing the football we are playing now than what BFS or Moyes or whatever shit Potter was serving up did. At least we have 3 youngsters in the midfield passing and moving like normal football teams do.

Our possession stats are not embarrassing every bloody game.
I just cant watch that type of football again. I've had it with all that shit. I'd rather be in the division one than watch those non footballing hoofball, park the bus every fucking game crappy managers  who spent 10s of millions to produce a rugby side that got tanked 3 and 5 nil every other game.
I just dont understand how anyone enjoys that.
Not for me.

Change our front 3 and we survive. Its that simple,
