"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

I’m tied with the Jets for interceptions this season.

We all are. Give yourself a pat on the back.

The giants really are the ultimate spastic team. Fuckjng suck to high heaven all season long every year when it matters and get yourself in the position for a prime draft pick before undoing all the hard work every Fuckjng year with absolute meaningless phyrric victories in the last couple of games to miss out on the prime players and still Fuckjng suck the following season.

Can’t even be shit properly.

Was surprised it was only 13-3, but I can't see seattle beating one of the better teams left in.

Decent D, but if they can only get 13 against a team missing 20 players of which 3 will be hall of famers and another is the number 1 wr, they'll come unstuck against the AFC mob.

Very open year though.

He was the jewel in the crown of the ‘83 draft.

Even among that amazing crop, he was clearly the best player in the draft. Which is saying something.

He was one of the famed 1983 quarterback class the Baltimore Colts wanted to draft him but for some reason he didn't want to go there? He probably could have been a baseball player, for the Yankees I believe?

Totally agree. The best, most complete QB I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t have the Super Bowl rings that Brady has, but he didn’t have Belichick and that programme around him.

When the Broncos did put a team around him, he delivered two titles.

Unbelievable arm and accuracy, could scramble, was tough (often played through injuries), natural leader and had that unexplainable ability to produce gold out of dust. Or, more often, out of snow. The best, in my book.

TBF, he’s been a bit shaky these last few games - basically since the loss in LA. But he’s still pulled himself round in the second half of each game.

We’ll need him and our whole O to be fully on their game Saturday night. Whiners are very good going forwards, but there D is obviously weakened with all the injuries they have.

This game is either going to be ridiculously high scoring or a horrible battle of attrition.

Also, Nutsin, putting our game aside for a moment - that’s amazing. You must be very proud

We are inadvertently brilliant at tanking. Our tactic is simple: have the Johnson & Johnson family as owners!

13 losing  season turnaround to a 13 (as it stands)..winning season is impressive.
Maye is on fire , he lives on the edge and gets sacked a lot, but he is great to watch and only going to get better...next season up against a harder roster will be his test.
9/1 for the Pats is fantastic value, but I think theyll come up short this season.
That  King  Henry for the Ravens is some RB , that's what the Pats lack, real top draw to go all the way to  win the SB.
yes, we got punished with an horrific schedule this year and couldn't have had a worse season with injuries. it's been dogshit, but should get better in the future 🙂
Keep the faith, TM. If Daniels gets fully fit again, then things will turn.

Back on track for No 1 seed.
Broncos have the chargers to come,  Chiefs too, I think they'll do them without Mahomes .
Pats have jets and dolphins , vital games to clinch the division as well as No 1 seed .
Jets away worries me
The Jets always worry me. And I follow the Jets.
😂.
I was surprised at how poor the Jets were , usually up for the Pats.
Jets seem to be the WHU of the NFL...
I watched the Brett Favre documentary last night , I didn't realise he played at the Jets...was he any good ( for Jets)..?..
Happy new year to you and yours btw Southbank and Mike.

Happy New Year to you and yours, too, Monsieur. Hope you have a great week, and a roaring 2026.

Yeah, the Jets’ lack of fight against the Patsies was one of the most alarming features of a truly terrible season. We usually make those games more competitive, even when we’re shite - which is often! But we’re currently so poor we can’t even get up for a grudge match. New England are very good again, though. Which is worrying, speaking as somebody who had to endure the Belichick/Brady era as a divisional rival!

Favre was good for the Jets until his shoulder went. Then his form fell off a cliff. We had him for just one season and went 9-7. We lost our last few games, though, IIRC. It could have been much better. But Favre initially retired with the injury, before making another comeback.

Cracking game last night. I just can’t see 49ers going all the way. You will eventually come up against a team who will shut up shop. And San Francisco keeps leaking TD’s. Would be great to see Purdy (Mr Irrelevant) Win the Super Bowl MVP. And make them talent spotter’s look daft.! It’s been interesting this season. No one has stood above everyone else, At the top end of the league. Everyone going into the playoffs are capable of turning over the top seed. Vegas are rightfully nervous.

GO G MEN.
