Forest on Tuesday | WHO Pre-match Slurps?
Get to very few matches these days owing to family and other commitments, but debating getting a ticket for Tuesday night (given it's a game that will essentially define the remainder of the season).
Who else is going, and does anyone fancy meeting up pre-match for a few drinks?

Let the players, staff and not least owners feel the misery I've felt as long as Sullivan has been around.
I hope his pony players he is bringing in is even worse with what we've got.

I hope you go or are going Stubbo. I would quite like to, but over here in Spain. Only game this season was Newcastle, which we won. I even arrived late and missed Newcastle scoring. I was expecting the worst, but only saw goals by us.

This is what I hate about supporting West ham. Now ive calmed down a bit im thinking about going over tomorrow.
Even though I know fully well that its gonna cost me money, sleep, its gonna be cold, shit, boring and infuriating
Supporting us is like being one of those battered wives and keep going back for more

Re: Forest on Tuesday | WHO Pre-match Slurps?
You wouldn't catch me over there for this game if I had a free ticket. I have served my time in good and bad but now I really cannot be bothered, the club can't so why should I? I am so glad I didn;t bother with the QPR game either once I knew it was on a Sunday.
As mentioned by someone else on here (can't remembr who) whats the point of having hope if we win for the endless cycle to contunue season after season if we somehow wriggle out of this?
I sort of feel dirty for saying it but for pressure to be put on every aspect of the hierarchy at the club losing heavily (or even just losing) may be a good thing?
I honestly didn't even know it was on TV, oh god another waste of my time!

Re: Forest on Tuesday | WHO Pre-match Slurps?
I'm looking forward to the pre-match pie and mash and little else at the moment.
Watching this team is like visiting a sickly elderly relative who is gradually fading away.
You turn up each week as a sense of of duty and hope to see some improvement but they are hardly recognisable to the person you once knew and it seems the fight has totally gone out of them.
At the moment I'm not sure this team even we have even got a pulse.

Re: Forest on Tuesday | WHO Pre-match Slurps?
I would advise anyone going or watching Tuesday to consume copious quantities of alcohol or take some mind altering drugs, hit the crack cocaine or visit a local meth lab around Stratford to get a huge “hit” before the game.
This aint gonna end well Tuesdsy. The “die is cast”, “fat lady singing”. We are down the toilet and about to be flushed around the U bend and deservedly so in terms of :
the owner, countless poor appointments, no long term planing or thinking
recruitment, that will be cited in history, as the greatest example of how to waste hundreds of millions by people who dont know what they are doing - and more importantly - dont listen to anyone who might know better ( they wouldnt be able to identify them as they dont know what good looks only cheap ) because they dont know that they dont know what they are doing. In fact they ( Sullivan and Brady) think they are the best in the business at running football clubs.
A word of thx to that great philosopher and sage Donald Rumsfeld who’s great insights gave been borrowed for part of the above

I'm almost hoping Forest win this game so I can abandon any optimism about staying up.

Re: Forest on Tuesday | WHO Pre-match Slurps?
Fair enough. It's also on TV which could tip a good few to sack it off and just stay in and watch it at home in the warm.
Re: Forest on Tuesday | WHO Pre-match Slurps?
Cant be arsed. From door to seat im looking at 90 ish minutes, train fare for me and the boy is £20, factor in more for dinner, freezing cold, fed up and home for about midnight with school in the morning.
Im giving this one a swerve. And a few years ago id have NEVER said that. Like I said, team cant be arsed why should I.
Ironically it probably means we'll win

I'm seriously tempted to sack it off too, but I will likely still go just because it's against our main relegation rivals and it's a massive game. We still have half a chance of survival if, and that's a big IF, we win it.
