NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Very surprised if we beat the seahawks now we're even more injured and with none if the others coming back, though can see those Rams beating either of us to make the super bowl anyway.
Those fuckers are extremely healthy which is rare at this stage of the season.

Some win that for the Niners!
amazing story so far with all these injuries and all these wins.
Tremendous effort!
Hawks in Seattle next. This time we hopefully will have Pearsall to offer a deep threat to keep Seattles D honest, that won’t be able to play Nickle the whole game again. Remember they could only manage 13 points against our 3rd string LBers.

What an incredible win, problem is we now have another bloody injury to one of our best players
Great season regardless and fair play to this defensive unit considering we're playing linebackers who had literally retired or who couldnt get a game anywhere else.
Mccaffrey is fantastic!

They know no difference mate. They are bombard from the cradle too the grave with advertisements of some form or the other. And with each passing generation. It's becoming a world wide trait.

Yeah, both Glenn and Mougey already know that the New York media and fans think they’re full of shit.
They don’t seem to realise that everybody has heard all of the pseudo-corporate claptrap from HCs and GMs for the last 16 years - and none of them have even threatened the playoffs.
They genuinely think they’re telling the world something amazing when they say “we’ll assess the tape and analyse the players”. Like nobody has been doing that since the invention of video.
It’s David Brent cringe. They need to hit the ground running next season. If they go 1-4 at the start, the place will implode.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
I wouldn't ask WHOers to go through the pain of watching 20 minutes of Jets waffle. It'd be like sticking pins in your eyes repeatedly.
But this is the post-season assessment from the Jets' GM and HC. It's a study in how to wordwang your way through a press conference without giving any indication whatsoever as to how you're going to improve matters. The fans, the press, NFL insiders and others genuinely have zero confidence in these two. They sound like trainees at PWC who once read a pamphlet.
Any decent owner would have escorted them out of the building after this. But the Jets don't have a decent owner. So it'll be more of the same next season. They will waste the enormous number of draft picks we have stockpiled by selling the family silverware.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
All true.
But I’d fly to Baltimore, collect him, and drive him to New Jersey myself if it meant he came to the Jets.
That guy knows how to lead a franchise top-to-bottom.
Sure, he missed the playoffs this year. On one kick. He remains a good coach, schooled in how Baltimore does things well.
No chance he comes to the green half of Gotham, though.

John Harbaugh will be the one, everybody is after.? But I wouldn't be surprised if he took a season off. 18 years straight in Baltimore couldn't have been a total walk in the park.
GO G MEN.

Decent D, but if they can only get 13 against a team missing 20 players of which 3 will be hall of famers and another is the number 1 wr, they'll come unstuck against the AFC mob.
Very open year though.Going to assume you didn't watch the game then. The scoreline doesn't really reflect just how dominant Seattle really were.
Not worried about Broncos or Pats, neither have played anyone decent this year - the Broncos almost lost to the Jets!
Oi!

Re: NFL (since 2016)
#2 pick in the 2026 draft after one of the worst seasons I can remember by a hopeless franchise.
Mendoza will go at #1 to the Raiders.
Which puts us in line for Dante Moore if he declares for the draft. The poor kid must be shitting himself. I’d go back to college!
